Aaaaah - the thread's back. For some reason I haven't been able to get on MN at all for the past couple of days. And then I could, but it disappeared again before I could catch up and post anything. Ah well - I've been very productive...
cherries - hope your time in London is going well! So lovely your DD could come to spend some time with you - even if you're not going to see much of each other! And sorry you're still having Toast Issues. I'm still lusting after stuff - but I'm going to think twice before ordering online from them again (and going into an actual shop makes it a bit easier to just walk away, without buying anything - sometimes..)
ella - hope your dress arrived before you left for your holiday! It is such a pretty print. Hope you have a fab time anyway.
binky - I know what you mean on the star culottes - they are high waisted - but, even though I'm very pear shaped, I kind of like that. I think its the hip: waist ratio thing - you're right! Also they are kind of like wearing pyjamas, but smarter than pyjamas. I really like them
and am wearing them at the moment (cos my jeans got rained on earlier and were soaked through - so I changed...)
soy - such a shame the miss havisham white lace dress wasn't right for you
. I know you've had your eye on it for ages! But, yes, at least you've scratched that itch. And glad you found some things that are keepers. The yellow tee sounds great - yellow would go perfectly with that striped marina and is such a happy colour. Hope the "fallen into the basket" things are a success too...always worth a go!
granny - lol at the shoe stretching! I know it sounds unglamorous, but if you can stretch them enough, think of all the lovely shoes you'll be able to wear again and not want to rip your feet off by the end of the day
. You'll have a whole new shoe wardrobe.
Liking the sounds of the last minute sale buys never and laska . Sounds like they will be useful. I'm afraid i fell off the bench too len (sorry!). I reordered the knitted green hoodie which I tried earlier in the season, but I thought was just a bit pricey at £60 (and also the one i had had a pulled thread). Now its £45 (or £40.50 with the discount) which is much better. But I'll be on the lookout for loose threads. Also I wanted the cropped star leggings that soy had for pilates, but they'd sold out of the M - so I thought I'd try the cropped harems as an alternative. I think someone said they were a disaster (?) but thought I'd give them a go. I actually prefer looser trousers for pilates, as long as they don't flop up my leg, and I'm fed up with full length, sweatiness at the moment!
