Hmm, a chewed custom bra would be very infuriating!

neveradullmoment99 · 28/08/2019 18:22

Therevis new stuff on the hush website btw😁

Laska2Meryls · 28/08/2019 20:15

Anything you fancy Never? ... Laska thinks of poor bashed car sitting on drive.. Sad

Laska2Meryls · 28/08/2019 20:18

Taybert eek, Horrid things, goats, their pupils are the wrong way anyway.. (although they taste good curried and produce nice dairy for cheese .)

Len Shock !! Is your SIL quite, quite bonkers??

Ellapaella · 28/08/2019 20:24

@taybert uh oh! Bloody goat! Shock

Ellapaella · 28/08/2019 20:25

@dontcallmelen 😱😱 at your sil and her goats

neveradullmoment99 · 28/08/2019 20:27

Actually not a lot. I do like the cropped black cord trousers though. Bad luck about the car @laska.

dontcallmelen · 28/08/2019 20:28

Laska yup mad as a box of frogs (she would probably adopt those as well) I could tell you tales of all my in laws, I married the only fairly sane one, though that is debatable at times😂

Nanasueathome · 28/08/2019 20:35

Toast will have a sale and reduce everything
I now have a wardrobe dedicated to my Toast stuff but have never paid full price
I always add the stuff I like to my basket and then dip in and out, deleting some and adding others
It does help that my younger son lives in Cheltenham and Toast have a lovely shop there too

Nanasueathome · 28/08/2019 20:38

And just to add, don’t forget that John Lewis also stock Toast

justilou1 · 28/08/2019 22:16

Oh no, @taybert! I thought that was a myth!!! I’m kind of desperate for one of those tiny ones that follow you like a dog. (They’re probably smarter than my dog, tbh...) Not sure about goat yoga and goat poo in the Lululemons though. That’s a hill too far for me.

NotAnActualSheep · 28/08/2019 23:55

Oh no taybert - what a shame. Goats are evil, horizontal-eyed greedy fuckers. I remember being traumatised at about 6 years old when one decided it didn't want to wait to be fed at a petting zoo and just snaffled the bag of food out of my (upraised) hand by pinning me against the fence, and then proceeded to eat my skirt. (DPs thought it was hilarious and just photographed the event...which I'm sure has turned me into what i am today). Glad your knee survived though. Hope it gave it a stomach ache, anyway.

len yy - your SIL is truly bonkers...

cherries - unfortunately i really love the look of the Kensington on you. i think it really suits your figure and would look brill with black boots. i don't think it looks too long - but can you not hook it up a bit so the waist sits higher if you feel it is? Still resisting buying it... I agree the Sainsbos jacket is so little different to the hush one! Definitely keep that one. in fact, I think I even prefer the look - though i think that may be it looks "softer" as it is a bit older than the hush one?

laska - oh no - sorry to hear of your prang. I hardly drive at all but was always absolutely terrified of doing something like that when reversing. I just couldn't get my head around spatial awareness when going backwards. Hope you're OK, even if it is an unwanted expense to get fixed. Poooo.

Ellapaella · 29/08/2019 08:42

Just ordered the Ziggy jumper (the grey one with brown stars) in a medium and a small. Have listed after it for a while now so just going to see if it's worth the price tag. Should be here by Saturday. Anyone else tempted by new stock?

Ellapaella · 29/08/2019 08:42

*lusted not listed Hmm

Ellapaella · 29/08/2019 08:44

I like the black corduroy dungarees and the Yasmin dress.

neveradullmoment99 · 29/08/2019 08:47

I would like to order the cords (crop ones) and like the black cord dungarees. I placed an order with toast though so that should come tomorrow. Wanted to try the anokhi dress in teal and shirt dress in burgundy. Both will probably go back unless they are really good.

neveradullmoment99 · 29/08/2019 08:48

The 10% hush finishes tomorrow i think so it depends how i get on.

Ellapaella · 29/08/2019 09:00

I really like the cropped cords Never and if I could wear my own clothes to work I'd definitely get them. Would you wear with brogues?

Laska2Meryls · 29/08/2019 09:28

I must say ( if I can be a little rude here) that cord trousers and dungarees just remind me too much of the 1960s/ 1970's ! (even the wide cropped ones) I definitely had that beige cord jacket.. .and as for Cord shirts ..... Hmm looking at you, Toast

cord skirts not so.. I have that Toast one coming to day , but after car prang,( which I will be paying for myself} I really dont think I can keep it ( fingers crossed for sale )

Ellapaella · 29/08/2019 09:41

Grin laska but the 60's and 70's were pretty cool

Laska2Meryls · 29/08/2019 10:23

... not if you were a teen in the 70s!! (as I was!)

ilovecherries · 29/08/2019 12:54

Me too, laska. I had a pair of navy baby cord flares that I wore with a Broderie Anglais off the shoulder top and a pair of mustard jumbo cord flares that I wore with a big arran jumper I made myself. Add a pair of platform cowboy boots and I seriously loved myself!

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 29/08/2019 13:20

You see, i love the 70's retro vibe thing going on. Its everywhere. I was a teen in the 80's so missed out all that cord except for flares. I had them and adidas trainers.

neveradullmoment99 · 29/08/2019 13:22

But i was a child so didnt care that much about fashion. It was what my mum bought me!

Ellapaella · 29/08/2019 13:36

My Mum had some amazing clothes in the 70's. I remember some gorgeous dresses, a fake fur coat and beautiful knee high leather boots. She still has some of it in her attic.
