Love both Jackest @cherries but I agree, they do look like black. The dark grey one also looks like black when I tried it on in the past.
I am not overly keen on the pattern of the Kensington. I am also not that fussed with the long sleeves but its the style of the dress, not you @cherries.
@Laska2Meryls love the trousers and do agree that the top looks quite generous. I don't think you will get much wear out of them as the season is so close to Autumn. I would return and wait to see if they reduce in the sale. I think you should also try the size down as I do thinky they look generous butcheries might be right and you might lose the style but its worth a punt esp if you are losing weight.

neveradullmoment99 · 27/08/2019 20:54

I meant the dark grey hush one. I like the hush one better but tbh, for the price difference I would keep the TU one!!! Its so cheap and practically identical to look at. The hush one does have the edge fit wise but only you will know if its really worth the extra. saying that, you know I have the pink one from hush and the quality is superb. I would buy in a heartbeat. At the end of the day, you bought it with a tax refund so what the heck, esp if you are returning the dress!

ilovecherries · 27/08/2019 21:31

Yeah, am going to send the jacket back. The cheap one I already own, it’s about three years old.

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 27/08/2019 21:46

Oh its yours? Well its not worth keeping the hush one if you have that one cherries.

ilovecherries · 27/08/2019 21:51

DD bought it a few winters ago, but she wanted it to go over chunky jumpers so she sized up, but as it’s relaxed, it’s far too big for her, so I inherited it.

It really suits you!

Ellapaella · 28/08/2019 08:13

Cherries just catching up with the thread - the second jacket (I think the Sainsbury's one) looks super imo, a great fit and style. Personally I much prefer that over the first (Hush?) one.

ilovecherries · 28/08/2019 08:45

It’s interesting isn’t it, something you lust after for forever, and then when you get it, it’s a disappointment. I’ve wanted that navy jacket for at least 2 years, but it’s just not worth 4 times my existing one.

Afternoon everyone! Sorry to butt in, but we know you're all partial to a new-season drop from Hush, and wanted to let you know you can get 10% off everything in the new autumn range when you redeem a code here. This will expire Friday.

Enjoy! Grin

FuzzyPuffling · 28/08/2019 14:13

Oh no ! when I lived in ruralest Wales tne next door neighbour had goats.. they were an absolute nuisance and would climb the stone walls over to ours. More than once i caught them nibbling the washing .. Goats eat anything!!

ilovecherries · 28/08/2019 16:44

Were you wearing them at the time? Did it bite you? I once had to wrestle with a goat on a campsite to get a bra back. I only got half of it. Given my bras were custom made at £75 a pop, I was not happy. Fortunately though, I was not actually wearing it,I had pegged it to a guy rope...

taybert · 28/08/2019 16:47

We were at an animal park in France, no teeth on skin thankfully, I did have to wrestle its jaws open so it let go though! I don’t even know why we were feeding bloody goats, it’s not like they’re an exotic or unusual animal Hmm

ilovecherries · 28/08/2019 16:48

They are such ungrateful sods!

taybert · 28/08/2019 16:49

My children are most amused that the goat will have starry poo Grin

dontcallmelen · 28/08/2019 16:53

Aww Laska what an absolute pain for you, stupid building sites.
Taybert crikey, did lol at starry poo goats though & 😂 half eaten bras they are a nightmare, my sister in law keeps goats & they are always eating the furniture, she lets them roam in the house😳

taybert · 28/08/2019 17:03

Crikey, it’s a wonder she’s got any furniture left @dontcallmelen!

dontcallmelen · 28/08/2019 17:15

Taybert you do take your life in your hands, when you go to sit down on a chair as you are never sure if it will hold your weight, she also has a donkey sanctuary.
