I think I have to keep it tbh. Its just really beautiful and think I may cry if I have to return it. I don't think I would wear it to work though but I am off work more than I am at work. I only work 3 days so its not a huge issue for me.

Did you keep the pinwheel Mila dress never ? I am thinking about that also.. I think its is quite 'me' (and scandi looking? ) .. could be nice for the Porto trip

No I returned it. I love it but hated the material. Its crispy viscose. Very a la hush style. It is beautiful though and would put that aside certainly if it was it in the sale.

I mean a la hush style cheap material!

Thanks. Yes it would be fine for work. Its just me. I will dress it down with a little cardi and boots. Its quite warm and I am wearing my toast pinafore although it almost feels too warm for that too!!

Absolutely lovely never! yy - you have to keep! Pity it's not lined though. If I feel a dress is "too much" I sometimes have a jumper or semi-buttoned cardi/ jacket to make it feel more like a skirt/top combo. And then take off the "top" when too hot or people are used to the skirt part!

laska - lol at your determination not to buy the Japanese trousers lasting a whole 40 minutes... . They are lovely, to be fair. I think I would go for the dress in the same fabric, but that's just more my style. It was this dress that I was after. Not really a pinafore tbh! but same kind of idea as I'd want to wear with a tee or blouse under.... (I have a similar one to the actual black denim pinafore you linked to though - should get that out really, though its a bit short to wear without tights.)

cherries - yes, the long sleeved kensington was the one I was lusting after! I'm sure its new if you and laska hadn't seen it before either! Its a gorgeous print - but I really don't need any more dresses. I think I'd roll up the sleeves to 3/4 length anyway, so they are probably wasted on me. Also (aiming to anti-enable myself) the way it is hanging on the model means you can see the reverse side of the fabric, which looks a bit odd imo. It just looks a bit pale with such a dark coloured print. I'd still buy it if I wasn't on the bench, though....

Thanks for the tips re the star print culottes, they’re really nice and perfect for what I wanted. I also got the black wide leg jersey trousers. Like Laska, I took them out of the box and nearly didn’t even try them on because the fabric is not what I was expecting at all. But I tried them on and found the comfortable and flattering, no weird sagging crotch or bottom like so many others I’d tried AND they have pockets so I decided to keep and I’m so glad I did. They’ve been really comfortable and useful on holiday.

I can’t help but think of autumn a bit and really like the colour of the cord girlfriend chinos but I don’t want to be buying clothes that won’t see through to winter. I haven’t got the hang of styling boyfriend/girlfriend fit trousers for winter but would really like to, otherwise I’m just falling in to the “uniform” of skinnies and a jumper/long sleeved t shirt. I wondered if flattish lace up or brogue style ankle boots might work?

They may also have variations. I remember the 'love' jumper was very similar. They also did it in a deep forest green. This jumper reminded me very much of Toast jumpers I have had over the years and have lost weight and sold them on.

I do this Usually with a cardigan!! How strange. I thought It was just me!!!

No!! I generally don't like slogans but I do have the rainbow tee and the paradise one but that's it. For me, It depends upon what it says.

I am so pissed off with Hush T shirts , pretty much al of my recent ones have developed holes especially around the tummy area, I really cant think why, . one i put on in the morning ( didnt go out in thecar so wasn't the seat belt, and I wasn't wearing anything with a front zip) and in the evening when I had taken it off it had about 5 tiny holes in ,,.. it was ruddy new ( blue slub T but from last year and hadnt been worn) . My new grey star T (only had it a few weeks) I have just noticed the same.. (and again no zip closure to rub) . and my Tiger T (which I loved so much) has also gone the same way!) .

What can be doing it ? Any ideas? .. Other Ts from other manufacturers I have in same drawer are not affected and i roll all my Ts up Marie Kondo style

I am also pissed of because I got stung by wasp today on the fleshy part of my hand near the ball of my thumb..
I couldnt shake the darn thing off and it was stick in there for what seemed ages.. I reckon I got the whole lot of its venom in me.. and quite honestly ( although this may sound daft) I dont remember pain like it ! .. This was several hours ago now on the beach and I couldn't do anything but bathe it with sea water then walk home for a mile or so ..

My whole hand isstill painful and arm still really aches.. .. swelling has gone down , and so nothing serious/ allergy wise to worry about, but my god...
(have taken ibroprufen, rubbed it with lemon and also ice, and then antihistamine cream.. ) ..

....as for the other Hush Ts I have, BTW , pretty much all of my slub ones it seems have gone or are going the same way ..

Oh no...poor you with the wasp sting. Sounds painful. I have been stung in the past and found it sore too. The wasps are a nightmare atm. My ds was in buying a sandwich and felt something on his shoulder and made a dash out of the shop as he pressed it and knew what it was. A ruddy wasp had crawled down his shirt and stung him on the shoulder eeuugh.
As for the slub tees, @laska I have stopped buying them. Tbh, they are lovely when new but after a wash they get bigger and get holes. Maybe the holes where there before? I think there is a flaw in the material. I reckon its too thin.

That’s bad with the T-shirts, can you complain send pics especially as they are pretty expensive.

I haven’t looked at any thing on hush or toast, shines 😇 am firmly on bench until at least October.
