never you look wonderful in that dress. And yes, it is a lovely colour!

laska the Mint Velvet looks fantastic on the slim, tall model. I suspect it might not be so flattering on the normal person (anyone, not you!).

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2019 11:46

Everything looks fabulous on you @laska. I would wear that outfit to work for sure! It would be put together casual look. Looks great for both casual and work. Its what I tend to wear mostly at home and at work.

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2019 11:48

Its not smart smart at my work. It can be chinos and a top or a pair of work trousers and jacket! Apart from jeans, anything goes!

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2019 11:48

I wear my trainers to work!

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2019 11:49

Thanks @FuzzyPuffling :)

Ellapaella · 16/08/2019 11:49

Love the outfit laska
Yes I'm still on holiday.. apart from today we've had great weather since last weekend, lots of sunny days and nice and warm. The sea here is so warm. Today is a bit drizzly and overcast but we have a swimming pool so the kids are happy. I don't do swimming pools so DH is entertaining them while I have some chill time.

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2019 11:49

@Laska2Meryls we need to find some really nice cowboy boots. I have searched. I do like some ariat ones but they are £££

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2019 11:50

I don't 'do' pointy toes though. More of a round toe person!
Laughing at the squeaking fly boots. That's so strange! I have had loads offly boots and they haven't squeaked!

Laska2Meryls · 16/08/2019 11:51

gotta be these boots never 😍😍

Laska2Meryls · 16/08/2019 11:52

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2019 11:56

They are new from the hush website @mizu

Huffthepuff · 16/08/2019 12:14

Love those Russell &Bromley star boots!!! If only I had £495!

justilou1 · 16/08/2019 12:21

@Laska2Meryls - I love the MV dress, but a bit worried about the fabric. I have a feeling that it would pull out of shape after one wash and look rather weathered very quickly. However, the colour is absolutely gorgeous and you can probably guess that I’m all over the print. The Toast jumper is to die for. You MUST win lotto. Buy the whole company.
Never, your dress is gorgeous!!! Love the earrings too! I am going through a tortoiseshell and lucite jewellery phase too!!!

ilovecherries · 16/08/2019 12:21

I have a pair of fly boots and a pair of Adidas trainers both of which are unwearable because of ‘The Squeak’. Thread has got away from me again, back at home with mum and dad for the weekend, so will catch up in bed. 6 weeks between visits feels long to them, whereas I feel I’m always on the bloody A9.

Laska & Never love your pics you both look fab, also the toast dress & jumper links are lovely.
I would also like some knee high lace up boots, no cowboy boots as Dh would relentlessly take the wotsit & sing country songs to me at every opportunity I would end up clobbering him with said boots😂
Yeahy dd has moved into the rental, just got back finally finished unpacking I have my house back, albeit very very untidy & a mountain of washing to tackle, which can wait till tomorrow as bone in my body aches.

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2019 09:51

Thanks @dontcallmelen. Sounds bloody stressful!!! and tiring!
@ilovecherries quick question - sometimes I do the 16/8 and was worried that milk in my coffee is breaking the fast. What do you put in your coffee? Is it cream?

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2019 09:53

I love the russell and Bromley boots too. Gorgeous!

ilovecherries · 17/08/2019 10:12

never during the fast part the advice is that anything that might trigger an insulin response and/or is more than 50 calls should be avoided. A splash of milk would probably be under 50cals but might, I guess, trigger the former. I only have water or mint tea in the fast part, or after a run I will have a mug of marigold bullion if I’ve been very sweaty. Fortunately running curbs my appetite for a few hours!

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2019 10:22

Thanks @cherries. Its way under 50 calories on my app. Its just a splash of milk really on instant coffee as I don't take sugar. I love a coffee first thing with milk. I am not fussed for anything else although I do like tea with a bit of lemon so maybe I will do that. I don't really do the 16/8 unless its a work day as I am never hungry before 10am so its easy to forgo breakfast. I am combining with the 800 cals a day.
Apologies for this chit chat not being on the diet thread!!!! But I know cherries is an expert :)

Laska2Meryls · 17/08/2019 12:40

A splash of milk is fine I reckon..

today I am wearing this top with a vest under and my Moritz jeans , and went out wearing the fab ginger Hush chester trainers (which were such a bargain) .
I have decided that this is 'my' look,.. and how I really want see myself looking right now)..

I caught up with the Kathy Burke on women programme last night, she was so great.. . Id like to think I could have her down to earth confidence.. but I am often so self critical..

Huffthepuff · 17/08/2019 13:05

That rust colour really suits you Laska
