Fuzzy bravo well done you getting to the sofa & yeahy for the new Kensington dress.
Soups well done dd, she has done brilliantly considering the tough year she has had.
Will catch up properly hopefully tomorrow, have unpacked at least fifty boxes today, dd just got the keys to the rental property, so hopefully will be moving in tomorrow, I am beyond tired.

Do we like this Mint velvet dress? Am thinking about it ..

My only reservation is the material but it looks gorgeous. I think you would look great in it. As you can see, I am going through a dress thing! They are just so complete and no fuss regarding tops.
As for the dress that I posted. I love it. So am keeping. I have it both in a 10 and a 12. They both fit [yippee!] but the 10 is slightly gapes on the bust and I am worried about Hush shrinkage issues with the 10 as I am sure my lovely daisy dress [ the one with black background and yellow flowers on it] has shrunk although its still fine, its annoying. So with that in mind, I am going to keep the 12. Inccidently it still gapes at the bust but not as much but is not as neat on the shoulders but not so you would notice that much. Its a superb colour on me. It is one of my favourite colours and although it is actually quite short, fine with leggings and boots and equally leggings and sandals as I am wearing them. Love the earrings. How hush justify £28 for them I have no idea though. I have noticed this in Claires accessories too [when going in with my dd] they are SO expensive now for cheap plastic junky earrings!

... actually although I do love that mint velvet dress, it is more for the life I do NOT lead!( i.e the fantasy going out to smart bars and parties etc !) I'd do better buying the gorgeous striped Toast Jumper or their checked Japanese trousers .. they are ideal for my actual real life !!

Sadly I do have a prob with that style of dress from Hush , in that to get the bust right I need to size up and am then usually swamped in the hips, .. But it looks really great on you ..

Am thinking the Toast dress could work with a long sleeve fine T under for Autumn? Its cotton though , so wont be a through winter piece..

I am rather taken with the trousers also huff, I have rather fallen in love with the lapis blue ones in the same cut that I got in the sale ..however they are pretty expensive for what they are , maybe ill wait for the sale on those ..

I do like those things and especially love the jumper [which will also be mine!!] I do think that the check dress is more versatile and you could totally wear something under it but the trousers look like summer trousers so I don't think there is enough of the season left. I do think they may be one of the first things to go into their mini sales. I would hang off. The dress- you could definitely get away with all season.

Thanks for everyones feedback on the dress. I had a problem with the longer style of this type of dress as it was longer and frumpier. It didn't really look frumpy but I felt frumpy in it away from the mirror!

I am in a linen seasalt tunic in a gorgeous green today, navy leggings and fatface ankle boots. Its cold and miserable here.
I am hankering after some cowboy boots [ I have NEVER like these but for some reason, I really would like a pair that are not too pointy and a lovely vintage leather to wear with denim skirts etc.] What is wrong with me?

Also would like some lace up knee boots. Quite like the fly ones but thinking they are maybe a little chunky for me. I know you have them @laska. You got them last year? I mean, how many boots does someone need?

I'm considering the striped Toast jumper too but would like to see what the sleeves are like really, the wideness/flakiness of them might actually be quite annoying.
Love the MV dress Laska and it would be totally fine for dressing down with chunky boots imo.
Never I love the Hush dress and earrings, both are lovely.
I have ordered the Boden coat, haven't ordered the Hush one as the Boden one has buttons all the way down so much more practical for keeping warm, Hush one only has 3 buttons. L2K4 gets 20% off Boden so the coat was £140 rather than £175.

Never my fly boots haven't stopped squeaking since I got them, really annoying, ( its the lining against my socks I think,) I may sell them.
