Does anyone own it? I see at least one person a day wearing it!

I have it. I love it, but people do say "oh you've got that dress!" whenever I have it on Blush

swissmilk · 24/07/2019 18:49

This passed me by...until I saw a thread on hereabout it....since then if I'm out and about (London) I see it several times a day. To be fair, all the women wearing them rocked it!

MakeLemonade · 24/07/2019 18:51

I see it a lot too, I nearly bought the maternity version but I’m glad I didn’t as it would definitely put me off wearing it.

Some people have started dyeing them which seems to work really well.

BikeRunSki · 24/07/2019 18:52

My sister does. She’s very on trend. According to her.

surlycurly · 24/07/2019 18:59

My mate has it.
She's sooooo v. on trend. And dull.

OpheliaTodd · 24/07/2019 19:01

It’s like a sack 😮

fantasmasgoria1 · 24/07/2019 19:01

I have seen it and I would not buy it as its a very dull shapeless dress but that is only my opinion!

OB1Kenobi · 24/07/2019 19:06

I have it. I love it and wore it a few times without seeing anyone else wearing it. I have seen loads at others wearing it at other times though. I dyed mine Navy yesterday- it looks great!

DramaAlpaca · 24/07/2019 19:07

I fell for the hype, bought it online & it went straight back. It looked like a shapeless sack, the fabric is synthetic & felt cheap & it was a bit too see-through for my liking.

applesandacorns · 24/07/2019 19:18

I tried it on, but I'm short and thin and it looked like a spotty potato sack on me.

TheLuckyMrsPine · 24/07/2019 19:46

I have it and love it! I have only ever seen one other person wearing it irl. I am short and slim, and use a belt to cinch the waist.

Always get compliments whenever I wear it.

Follow hot4thespot on IG and keep hoping I get papped!

DameXanaduBramble · 24/07/2019 19:49

I WANT to love it, i really do, but I can’t.

ilovecherries · 24/07/2019 20:09

I have it. Had it for about 4 months. I love it. It’s viscose, so it’s not sweaty. I’ve also never seen anyone else wearing it.

dontgobaconmyheart · 24/07/2019 20:16

I have seen on it quite a few people so far this summer, the feist time I saw it I loved it and asked the wearer where it was from but forgot about it and was glad I did. I was in London over the weekend and clocked it several times, which just makes it seem a bit ubiquitous and no longer special.

Looks good and on trend on anyone slim who's rocking boho hair and sienna miller type aesthetics basically, everybody else its looked a bit of a miss or nothing special.

I think it's mean to mock people buying into it though, fashion literally is that- not liking the popular thing, doesn't make anyone cooler does it. And not everybody reads the tabloid news either so perhaps are blissfully unaware of its infamy!

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 24/07/2019 20:21

I have it, love it, and have never seen anyone else with it on in real life. Not in London though.

small2018 · 24/07/2019 21:20

Why is it 'on trend'? Have I missed a trend 😂

OP posts:
ChardonnaysPrettySister · 24/07/2019 21:31

I was about to start a thread about it.

I saw at least 8 today. Some looked good, others didn't.

I must say though that the ones that looked good looked better than Zara's model in the photo.

WhoKnewBeefStew · 24/07/2019 21:45

Someone mentioned this today, I'd not heard if it before, looks awful on the Zara model

coco123456789 · 24/07/2019 21:51

I have seen soooooo many people wearing this dress (London). But all ages - 18 year olds and even women in their 60s. It is truely ageless. My friend bought it ages ago and used to wear it a lot but hasn’t worn it since it became infamous in case people think she has jumped on the bandwagon.

Bezalelle · 24/07/2019 22:51

I thought it was minging at first but decided to try it on, as I always need long "modest" clothes for religious situations. I ended up loving it and buying it. I haven't seen a single other soul wearing it!

elQuintoConyo · 24/07/2019 23:02

I'm Spain, haven't seen a single person wearing it!

SpreadHummusNotHate · 24/07/2019 23:10

I bought it ages ago but have stopped wearing it for fear of being caught on hot4thespot 😂@OB1Kenobi love the idea to dye it! Did you just use Dylon or something..?

Zinnia · 24/07/2019 23:12

I'm in London and see it every single day without fail, often more than once. Have done for the last couple of months. I tried it in about April but the colour did nothing for me so left it. Navy sounds nice though @OB1Kenobi!

SweetMelodies · 24/07/2019 23:13

I don’t understand why this dress has become a thing? It’s quite nice but would only look really lovely on certain people. Much like the many, many other dresses available at Zara and the rest of the high street. Why that dress out of all of them??

Titsywoo · 24/07/2019 23:16

SweetMelodies - one word Instagram. Probably started by Zara themselves!
