Does anyone own it? I see at least one person a day wearing it!

I see a lot of people wearing it. It, er, doesn’t suit every figure.

Bookworm4 · 24/07/2019 23:21

Hideous, shapeless, stop believing hype 🙄

escapade1234 · 24/07/2019 23:23

Ooh, a mum at school has this. I didn’t know it was a thing when I first complimented her in it. The next day I saw an article in the Telegraph about it and how I see it everywhere.

I think you’d need to be tall and thin to make it look cool and not like a sack to cover your wobbly bits.

ReturnofSaturn · 24/07/2019 23:27

No and I certainly wouldn't want to wear a dress tons of other people were wearing.

RavenLG · 24/07/2019 23:28

It doesn't even look good on the model Grin

Miniloso · 24/07/2019 23:29

Weird!! Not the most amazing dress tbh.

ilovecherries · 24/07/2019 23:32

I think anything you buy on the high street will of tons of other people wearing. So unless you can by designer, I don’t even think that’s an issue. We just notice this one because of the publicity.

Trickyteens · 24/07/2019 23:32

It is awful: it looks like a tent, or a 1959s pregnancy dress.

OB1Kenobi · 24/07/2019 23:35

@SpreadHummusNotHate Yes, I used a dylon pod. Really easy!

ReturnofSaturn · 24/07/2019 23:37

I don't buy on the high street I make my own clothes now so not an issue for me Grin

15YemenRoad · 24/07/2019 23:43

I find the shape and style so unflattering, I really don't understand how it's so popular. I've not seen one person wear it and thought oh that's a nice dress!

ilovecherries · 24/07/2019 23:46

Ok, but making your own clothes, which I also often do, isn’t that usual. Most people probably buy from shops, either bricks and mortar or online so seeing duplicates is inevitable. I probably saw 25 Next linen dresses today, but no one is putting them on insta to be sneery about them.

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 24/07/2019 23:52

I saw that the other day and wondered about buying it. I'm not going to if it's that popular!

I'm already struggling with this M&S one. Most people I've seen wearing it are older than me, which doesn't bother me. What does is that they all look much cooler in it! They manage a biker soft rock style with a leather jacket and chunky jewellery. I just look like I've come from Laura Ashley, circa 1987...

MoltonSilver · 25/07/2019 00:04

I haven't seen anyone wearing it in my neck of the woods. I tried it on out of curiosity and liked it but the colour doesn't do anything for me. Would anyone who dyed it care to share a photo?

Thegreymethod · 25/07/2019 00:10

I've seen it loads since I saw the last thread about it, on the model it doesn't look great but I've loved it on other people. Vicky Pattison has it on on Instagram and looked lovely in it.

Isitweekendyet · 25/07/2019 00:11

*slowly raises hand

Fluffytheevil1 · 25/07/2019 00:21

It looks like she’s wearing a sack made of tv static 🤨

DragonNoodleCake · 25/07/2019 00:21

Yes my friend has it, she can pull it off, but it's really not my bag and I told her I've seen her in a million outfits that make her body look banging, this doesn't. She likes it tho, so her choice.

DragonNoodleCake · 25/07/2019 00:24

She looks way better in it than that model, and pairs it with biker boots and a denim jacket

abitfedup · 25/07/2019 00:26

It's 50 shades of fugly.

Wouldn't be seen dead in it.

abitfedup · 25/07/2019 00:27

@Fluffytheevil1

Looks like a sack made of TV static LOL! Grin

Cecily75 · 25/07/2019 00:33

I have it and love it. I saw it in the shop and loved the sack-ness of it and bought it, before it apparently became ubiquitous. But I've not seen anyone else in real life wearing it, and the Insta account is quite funny, I don't find it sneery at all.

ZazieTheCat · 25/07/2019 00:34

Saw someone wearing it today in Madrid. Looked really good. Much better than in photos. Was surprised as I didn’t think I would like it.

Lots of women here opting for loose, billowy (verging on puffy) clothes as a heat antidote, so the silhouette was of the moment.

The white background looks fresh and summery in the sun, but the black spots kind of ground it, make it look smart and together.

twistyturnycurlywhirly · 25/07/2019 00:43

It's fucking ugly. Looks like it came from a charity shop. My nan has something similar.

Mythreefavouritethings · 25/07/2019 00:57

It looks a bit frumpy, but probably good for the weather!
