I've had a cold so mainly been wearing PJs, but ventured out today. The jumper is purple and so cosy and I love it

channelling my inner teenager today:

90s throwback hip-hugging floor-dragging dark denim jeans
blue longsleeve tee layered under
grey "mother of dragons" knockoff tee

blue/white trainers and hooded shacket (navy body, grey hood) for going out. i don't think i've ever used shacket "out loud" before

Went to the designer outlet today & it was pretty drizzly so I was very pleased to have my Protected Species rain coat

Did you buy anything nice at the outlet?!

DH bought loads! But tbf he only goes clothes shopping once every 5 years. I bought a new every day bag - a leather mini backpack from Levi’s & a couple of jumpers from Superdry to wear around the house with leggings

Shopping and lunch with friends yesterday, such a lovely day - and I didn't buy anything! Tried lots on but everything was either not quite right or too similar to something I already have - since I started using Style Book I'm much better at recognising when I already have an outfit to wear on the same sort of occasion/ mood/ weather that I would wear something I'm considering buying. And then talking myself out of buying it, ifswim?

Relaxed day today, so I'll be wearing my cosy purple jumper and black jeans, nice and comfy

Lovely backpack. My DH is the same, he hates shopping so usually does an annual big shop!

@ShushhhandPat thanks for your lovely compliment - truth is 3 days a week I'm wearing a nurses uniform! So a daily Instagram might get a bit dull 😁

Today I'm wearing coated black jeans, a sparkly jumper from Wallis and white trainers. Sorry for the dreadful light - I have all the lights on in my room and it's pretty dingy outside.

Wore comfy clothes this morning, but changed into a dress to go to an early casual dinner with DH

I have been lurking for a while on here and also the plus size thread, but I'm not sure I should be posting there as I'm not a size 18+... so here I am! I hope you don't mind me joining you.

I am in need of much style inspiration, as you will see from my photo, which probably isn't my finest hour...

The truth is, I've gained a lot of weight recently, since I stopped breastfeeding dc2 and all the weight I actually managed to lose while doing that came back on, with interest. Also, I love . Cannot blame it all on breastfeeding or babies!

Anyway, I've lost my way a bit style-wise and I'm a bit bigger than I think most of the pictures of people on here, (I'm a tall size 14/16).

This is me today. As I say, not my finest. We don't have much on today though, other than school run and housework. Also, (toddler) dc2 has systematically broken each and every necklace I own. One of them has been repaired three times this year 😂. So I have given up, to a degree, on accesorising!

Now dc2 is most 2yo, I'm planning to up my game a bit style wise.

Today I'm wearing DM's, jeans from Hush, big chunky jumper from Superdry and new black biker jacket (which was a gift from a lovely friend).

@NancyEspana I've only started wearing jewellery again last year. My youngest is 20. But the new puppy we got destroyed the chain of my favourite necklace! Still only wear flat studs...

😂 Just 20 years to go then! Oh well. Maybe I'll get some of that teething jewellery for my (very grumpy today due to teeth) boy! I don't suppose it's worth doing that with a puppy though...

Ella! You out outfits together so effortlessly. I have cherry DM’s although Chelsea style and those hush jeans and would never have thought of putting them together! They look great. I also have to confess to ordering ‘the’ new look dress today as it came back into stock.
This thread had quietened down and I was a bit gutted as it’s my favourite!

Coats always let me down but I love a practical coat as I hate getting wet 🤦‍♀️

Necklace - charity shop (£2, so not even especially bothered if dc breaks it )

Staying in doors today. DS2 has his first jabs yesterday & is a bit unsettled. DS1 also has a cold. Not a happy household.
