@happytobemrsg what's the app you are using for your pics? It looks a bit like polyvore but I don't think Polyvore exists anymore?

White shirt, Pimkie
Light blue boyfriend jeans, 7 for all mankind, cuffed to above the ankle.
Black Burwood brogues, Church's
Black wallet on chain, Chanel
Silver jewellery, Georg Jensen and Bottega Veneta

StoatofDisarray · 16/08/2019 15:14

Allbirds dark red baseball boots, no socks, black leggings, a black scoop-necked loose T shirt with DEflatCB in big letters down the front of it in grey (Shostakovitch), a very long thin grey cotton knit scarf looped a couple of times, an old dark navy utility style cotton jacket with pockets and zips and epaulettes and a drawstring waist, an Orla Kiely dark grey and black pattered messenger bag.

Today is the day for pjs october

It’s Stylebook @Ellapaella. I must admit I think it’s fantastic Grin it’s not just about the photos - it’s helping me trim down my wardrobe & wear everything I have rather than add additional bits I clearly don’t need

kiki22 · 16/08/2019 20:27

Today I wore baby pink loafers (primark) light blue skinnys (George) and a white sleeveless botton up shirt I got in the h&m sale.

I tried on a few flowy floral dresses similar to ones I've seen on this thread but I'm too small and booby even belted they drowned me which was a bit crap but I've decided long flowy things are not for me.

happytobemrsg · 16/08/2019 20:29

Your outfit sounds great kiki

Summersummershine · 16/08/2019 21:29

@kiki22 I'm exactly the same - I love all the pictures of the long dresses but they just look silly on me. I'm not sure if it's my (lack of) height or if they're just not my style but they just not working for me Sad So I've ordered a knee length leopard print tea dress from Sainsbury's to try instead Smile

I can't remember who recommended the putting me together blog but THANK YOU! I've been avidly reading and with that and stylebook (thank you @happytobemrsg for that one) I'm starting to see how I might be able to get a lot more out of what I've already got in my wardrobe Smile

kiki22 · 16/08/2019 21:41

@Summersummershine I have a few knee length tea dresses they flatter me but anything long I look frumpy. I'm 5"2 and a curvy hourglass so I'm guessing anything long and loose will look tent like

H&m had a good sale on today picked up a few bits.

NoTheresa · 16/08/2019 21:43

Photos, please. I skim over the ones that do not include a pic. Sorry guys.

kiki22 · 17/08/2019 00:08

@NoTheresa not everyone wants to show photo's you are more than welcome to skim but everyone will continue to post what they feel comfortable with.

origamiunicorn · 17/08/2019 07:20

Photos, please. I skim over the ones that do not include a pic. Sorry guys.

Oh ok, I will make sure post pics, can't have you skimming over my posts, not sure what I'd do with myself.

cheesenpickles · 17/08/2019 09:12

Lots of black today. I really need to start rotating my shoes though. I only have one bag at the moment as well.

What are you wearing today? part two...
cheesenpickles · 17/08/2019 09:16

Top is ASOS and jeans are Jamie's from Topshop.

Lobsterquadrille2 · 17/08/2019 09:23

Jeans and raincoat M&S, top TopShop, shoes Sainsbury's.

@plantwhisperer a bit of help! I had several threads about it last year 😀

Sigh1738 · 17/08/2019 09:34

Pilates clothes right now! Sweaty Betty grey joggers, old band t-shirt, grey Birkenstocks, khaki parka.

It is a fabulous fringe lobsterquadrille2. I have immense fringe envy (especially as a curly-haired person who will never be able to have one unless prepared for a level of maintenance which is, quite frankly, beyond me!)

happytobemrsg · 17/08/2019 09:40

I didn’t know there was a blog @Summersummershine .... off I go to Google....

I only post photos of the clothes, not me in them. At 37w I’m looking less & less fashionable & more beached whale.

happytobemrsg · 17/08/2019 09:46

I wear too much black too @cheesenpickles - attaches photos of my stats. The biggest change for me I think (since my Autumn analysis) has been wearing more browns. I always loved greens & mustard.

happytobemrsg · 17/08/2019 09:49

Makes my clothes look very drab

cheesenpickles · 17/08/2019 10:22

I've not been analysed but I'm guessing I'm a deep/dark autumn.

I'm also shocked as how many clothes I still have looking at my stats Grin

I think I'm going to try and embrace the black a bit more moving forward. I always try and match it with something bright but I'm feeling the Parisian/beatnik vibe.

happytobemrsg · 17/08/2019 10:53

Wow your colours are much brighter than mine @cheesenpickles!!!

cheesenpickles · 17/08/2019 13:35

There's a lot of sequins in there Grin I've trying to grow it up a touch and a lot of the bright comes from scarves, shoes and hoodies.

happytobemrsg · 17/08/2019 14:23

Maybe we should have a bit of a wardrobe swap cheese! I want to add some rust/terracotta as that looks lovely with my current stuff. Maybe a jumper or two

cheesenpickles · 17/08/2019 14:29

GrinI have to say all your outfits are so gorgeous! I absolutely love your style. I definitely need to embrace more neutrals. Currently on my hit list is a pair of black or nude loafers. I used to always wear ott make up but I've managed to switch that down to more neutrals nowadays. Terracotta is such a lovely colour. I'm supposed to suit red but it never seems to work for me but burgundy and rust do.

tierraJ · 17/08/2019 14:42

This morning I went for coffee & wore:

Short fitted zipped Chanel style white & black cardi from Zara
Blue ripped skinny jeans from Dorothy Perkins
T-shirt from New Look
Grey crossbody bag from River Island
Pointed rose gold flats from M&S

This pm off to the gym so:

Purple & black gym vest from M&S
Black leggings from Tu at Sainsbury's
Turquoise blue hoody from New Look
Neon pink & orange Nikes from JD Sport

AdoraBell · 17/08/2019 14:59

Shopping with DH, just groceries and school shoes for DC. So, dark jeans, T and a vibrant green/purple scarf.
