I think it's fine to suggest something to your future niece, Xing, so long as it comes with a caveat that they're absolutely allowed to hate it and you won't be offended in the least. I struggle to see how a 'I saw this and thought of you, do with it what you will' could be viewed as bothersome?
Found some more info on the H&M Studio from H&M themselves here. It's out sooner than I thought, the 5th of September. Prices are reasonable looking and most things are marked as natural fibre mix. The dresses have no material mention so I'm assuming those are all recycled synthetics. My skin is sensitive to a lot of synthetics (though I suspect it's a combination of dye and material, I'm more prone to reaction in a cheap and cheerful place) so I avoid them but the recycled synthetics I've seen are very indistinguishable in look and feel, the earlier stuff could look a bit dull but not so much anymore.
Interest quote from the linked piece definitely makes it sound like they're chasing the Céline woman (with a more realistic budget):
"This collection is a celebration of the modern woman. She is deeply free, empowered and stands up for what she believes in. She dresses for herself, which translates as a mix of classic shapes with more avant-garde pieces." Combined with all the talk of sustainability I am wondering if this isn't some sort of trial run for a new shop concept that is fully sustainable.
The IdlF Uniqlo has been out since August 29th time, the Uniqlo U is out the 26th of September.
