Ooh ooh! Another royal dream! This one is so dull

I have a white bathroom floor and whenever I have long haired moulting guests, I spend the next few weeks chasing long hairs round the floor trying to clear them up. PITA.

Anyway, Meghan came to visit. I wasn't best pleased.

The royals will have to deal with the negative press about Andrew at some point - but the issue is quite rightly clearly not going away.

I love MM’s dress but it doesn’t fit her. Blah blah breastfeeding etc but it’s a running issue with her that she’s wearing clothes too long & too tight. If you are large of breast & short waisted then fit is vital - lucky old Kate ... tall, long torso & small tits is über forgiving when it comes to fashion.

Of the three outfits we’ve recently seen her in the polo wins for me - if for no other reason than it fits best.

It's strange, remember when we'd complain that Meghan wore clothes that were too big for her??

The dress Meghan’s wearing this evening is beautiful but it’s too small for her.

I honestly don't understand why Meghan has such a hard time looking appropriately dressed in things that fit and flatter. She has all this money, doesn't she look in the mirror? That dress looks awful on her - straining across the bust and just too tight. It does nothing for her. It does look nice from the back. Beyonce just looks... embarrassing.

Pippa looks good, dress a pretty colour and a nice shape, Carole looks as though she's popping out to Tescos.

My mind is boggling at Beyoncé's underwear. How on earth do you wear underwear under that?!

Honeysuckle I totally agree. A "normal" mum having fit issues post-partum I totally understand, but she must be able to have four different sizes on hand and numerous dress options. I'm not sure why she chooses styles that are so unforgiving on fit.

A bit like when people view themselves as bigger than they actually are, only in reverse?

Feeding a baby it is impossible to control your boob size, she is a new mum having to struggle with clothes that fit one minute and not the next. Beyonce, words fail me what a hot mess.

Not to whinge too much, but can we stick to style and beauty? Some diversion has suited us well, but discussing the Epstein scandal is too much away from our happy thread style.

For what it's worth, this photo shows the pretty pleats on Kate's dress today. She may look tired from time to time, but she looks so fresh here. The pearls are a nice balance.

I think even when Meghan is at her normal size she does not have the easiest shape to dress, her short torso tends to make clothes look like they don’t sit correctly sometimes, Kate is very fortunate that she is tall and has a long torso so most clothes hang perfectly on her frame.

Meghan is so pretty but seems to struggle with her changing shape. She needs a stylist who is right there when she dresses and says go up a size. Beyonce looks ridiculous.
It will be interesting to see how the Andrew issue progresses. A long time ago Sarah issued a statement distancing herself from Epstein and saying she regretted allowing him to pay some debts for her. Weird world they all live in.

Love that photo of Meghan meeting Beyonce @CurlyWurlyTwirly, especially Harry clocking J with that "You lookin' at my bird?" expression.

@mikado1 I noticed William's po face too. The body language was interesting. Not a lot of conversation going on between him and Kate, he was very much eyes forward. I think he was very aware of being on show and was trying to avoid any expression whatsoever that the press might pick up on. Sad really. Not to say uncomfortable, because that was a looong match!

Must be a bit shit for MM - she’s spent years and years dressing her body shape and has it sussed. She’s only had 2 months to get used to a new shape and it must be tricky to figure that out (while she has other stuff on! Archie for one :) )

However... there are some amazing dresses out there eg... the darker blue sequin one is dazzling deep blue (much more vibrant than the pic shows).

You can see on this photo the side seams don’t line up. For the cost of the dress I would expect better tailoring than this.

Promise to do no more as blocks up the thread :) but sometimes it’s interesting - if you think, “ugh I hate what they’re wearing”, to have a look yourself at what’s out there and how difficult it must be :)
