And I think we all can agree that it's much more fun if we stick to critiquing the clothes rather than the women!

I was just thinking that carrying a 2 month old baby around outdoors in your arms is very awkward.

I mean it is great for us do we can see him but a sling or a pram would have been much easier for DoS.

But when my eldest was 2 months I probably did similar and learnt from my mistakes.

Paradyning · 10/07/2019 20:46

It's too bloody hot for a sling! They are little radiators. She was probably holding him for a short time between prom or whatever.
We shouldn't draw assumptions based on photos as pp have said

Notmyrealname855 · 10/07/2019 20:50

I just like chunky little Archie and Louis :)

Spudlet · 10/07/2019 20:50

It was devoured by a horde of rabid moths shortly before the pictures were taken. [Taps foot impatiently, waiting for the headline to hit the DM website] Wink

Agree on the hideousness of the olive camping tent. I'm all for being comfy post birth and I was no fashion plate thats for sure but I still never wore a muumuu. It would have just made me feel fatter. I think I wore a lot of floaty seperates that at least broke up the vast expanse of flesh.

That said, I actually love love love her unfussy look with her fluffy hair. It's very casual and cute and there's something quite genuine about it. Shes just too tired to bother dressing up. It's adorable.

Kate looks beautiful. She always does, but she always looks extra wonderful with the kids as she always seems to be enjoying them so much. I love a car boot picnic!

AppleKatie · 10/07/2019 20:57

To be fair the internet has been taking the piss for weeks (me included) about jigsaw Archie. Now she has him completely uncovered and people are criticising the way it appears she’s holding him in a few pap shots. The very definition of not being able to bloody win.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 10/07/2019 20:59

I disagree about the dress, I think she carries it off nicely.

Notmyrealname855 · 10/07/2019 21:01

Do they not sell the LK Bennett dress anymore? Can’t find it!

Paradyning · 10/07/2019 21:06

It looks a similar dress she wore when the Obamas came to KP so maybe it's an old one.

Smokeonthewater · 10/07/2019 21:06

I was just wondering if M was at the Polo last year?

Spudlet · 10/07/2019 21:07

I think it’s one of those dresses that you carry off if you’re very beautiful. Meghan is, so she gets away with it, even if it’s not one of her best looks. Were, say, I to try it, I would be at risk of being mistaken for a runway Boy Scout jamboree marquee, and being pegged into place with guy ropes Grin

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 10/07/2019 21:09

I don't mind the dress, I kind of like the fact that she isn't too pimped up. I feel a bit sorry for her being criticised for how she's holding Archie. He might be a terrible wriggler for all we know.

Charlotte looks like she's had a growth spurt and left her dress behind!

Paradyning · 10/07/2019 21:11

Megs' dress looks nice in the original form too with the belt.

Apparently it’s not on sale anymore Notmyrealname! She wore the lilac version in 2015 so it must be a few years old. It’s called the Madison Silk Chiffon Dress.

I actually really like the belted version of Meghan’s dress, shame it’s £500+

I’m also tempted by Kate’s wedges even though I hated them at first! Is it Stockholm syndrome from seeing them so much?

Ive no strong feelings on Meghan either way, I’m only here for the frocks, but I think criticising her for how she’s holding her baby is really bloody awful. I hope that doesn’t get back to her because that’s horrible for a new mum to hear.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 10/07/2019 21:20

I was just wondering if M was at the Polo last year?

Yep!

Smokeonthewater Meghan went to a few Polo matches last year. The first two pics are from the Audi Polo and the last is the Sentebale Polo match. (I don’t just remember this, I googled it!)

I’m curious how much royals know about what people say about them? I’m assuming they must have PR meetings where it’s discussed and be aware of big headline stories but they surely wouldn’t be reading about themselves every time they attend an event like today? I’d love to know how much they actually know!

Notmyrealname855 · 10/07/2019 21:32

Nooooooo it’s such a beautiful dress! Oh well

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 10/07/2019 21:35

Here’s a tangled polo photo from back in the day.
Prince Charles when he was dating Lady Sarah ( Diana’s sister) with Susan Barrantes ( Fergie mum ) thé back ground

I think Meghan looks as if she is desperate for somewhere to sit down. The whole car park thing looks awkward for everyone. Kate is very thin in that pink dress.

GlamGiraffe · 10/07/2019 21:43

Spudlet you made me laugh about the scout tent with guy ropes. I did say to my husband i thought i looked like a 5 man family tent. He said he thought it was ridiculous. -Even a man asked why a woman would wear something that made them look so huge. (And he's generally truly bad at clothes).

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 10/07/2019 21:47

Have we worked out yet whether Archie has Harry's colouring? He seems a lot paler than Meghan. I'm rooting for a ginge as we are a dying breed!

AppleKatie · 10/07/2019 21:49

I don’t think he has enough hair yet for anyone to be certain on that.

HelloCheeky · 10/07/2019 22:21

How do you breast feed in a dress like that? (Meghan's)It doesn't look like there are any buttons at the front so you would have to take off the whole dress and feed in your underwear or somehow push the baby up and inside it? No, it just isn't a breast feeding dress.
