I didn't realise HM's engagement yesterday was a joint one with the royal family's other stylish duchess, Brigitte Gloucester! I like her pale blue coat and beret. It also looks like something Kate would wear, even though Brigitte is in her 70s!

The Royal collection just shared this picture of George V and Tsar Nicholas II looking like twins. I reckon you could photoshop James Middleton in there and it'd look like triplets!

I'm not sure if this link will work but Carole Middleton is at Wimbledon today and looks lovely. A really casual and pretty look. Kate is so much like her.

Lady Helen Taylor is also there and looks amazing. She's a similar age to me - I wish I had her style. I saw a picture earlier (on the mail website, sorry) but can't seem to find it now.

Sophie's dress is lovely. I'm not so keen on Camilla's dress although normally I love her style. It seems a bit formal and matronly.

I love Carole's dress, it would really suit me. Does Sophie get wheeled out every time Albert is here on his own?

That's terrible about the young girl killed. I always felt for people who lost children, but since I've had DC it's a more visceral response when I hear things like this. A friend's DC died of cancer a few years ago and I just couldn't stop hugging my DC for the rest of the day. I think I let DS sleep with me that night. My heart breaks for them.
