And I think we all can agree that it's much more fun if we stick to critiquing the clothes rather than the women!

Hmmmm that is plausible I suppose, but somehow I doubt it.

UrsulaPandress · 09/07/2019 12:57

Looks on closer inspection as if he did have the phone in selfie mode but ...

Ninkaninus · 09/07/2019 13:00

Ok I guess I might have judged that one too quickly! But still, that’s verging on encroaching on personal space, selfie or not...

EleanorReally · 09/07/2019 13:09

it could be the angle, where he seems closer to MM that he is

GlitchStitch · 09/07/2019 13:11

He's two rows down, the angle makes him closer. He was definitely taking a selfie of himself with the court, you can see it on his phone.

I was Talking to Myself!
says the man Wink

EleanorReally · 09/07/2019 13:25

and Piers Morgan can fuck off with his comments to MM to Go back to America Shock
what an odious man.
totally uncalled for

Laiste · 09/07/2019 13:25

Just shows you how photos can lie doesn't it?

completelyclueless1 · 09/07/2019 13:27

Oh my goodness Meghan, I have always really liked you but what are you doing??

How utterly embarrassing that he was taking a selfie - potent fuel to the fire for her haters Sad

Laiste · 09/07/2019 13:33

hopeishere - How do you think Kate gets to select jewellery to borrow? Do you think there's folders with pictures?

When i read your post i got an immediate mental image of Kate walking serenely to a secure room full of royal jewelry, politely thanking whoever had ushered her there, waiting till she was alone, and then ...

RUSHING ABOUT THE ROOM FINGERING ALL THE SPARKLY LOVELIES Grin I would!

EleanorReally · 09/07/2019 13:34

what did mm do?

frugalkitty · 09/07/2019 13:47

Laiste that reminds me of the story of Fergie in the days before her wedding looking at the wedding presents and shouting “clock the rocks”!!

Laiste · 09/07/2019 13:52

I hadn't heard that one frugalkitty.

Fergie's like your embarrassing mate Grin

Or maybe i'm just stuck up GrinGrin

Blitheringheights · 09/07/2019 14:14

But still, surely that man should have realised that it would seem extremely intrusive to the (v famous) person behind him.

Isn’t that why Cressida called time, because people were photographing her all the time in the street with their phones?

Also the art gallery thing is so true, it does make you wonder why Kate, who I think of as very good at hitting the right note PR wise, didn’t get a spurious two-day a weak gallery job back when she was getting lambasted for not working and waiting for wills to propose.

Sorry! I keep detailing from the clothes! I love the pink dress and headband outfit.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 09/07/2019 14:20

Kate did have a job as an accessory buyer or something with Jigsaw didn't she?

Also she worked for the family business, which if you think of it was an ideal arrangement for all concerned. They probably didn't have to pay her much, if anything, time off whenever she wanted to support William, discreet employers so no risk of leaks. We don't know how hard she worked, it doesn't matter. She was gainfully employed while she waited for William to make a commitment.

ElspethFlashman · 09/07/2019 14:34

Speaking of the Midds - Pippa has the exact same watch as Kate. It's a Cartier Ballon Bleu.

Makes me wonder if their watches were a gift from Mum and Dad.

Also, here is James in a supremely expensive suit.

He's not Royal but he is a fine piece of ass, and that's reason enough for a close up. 😉

I assumed he was being v rude and taking photos of Meghan but it’s clear from the photo posted up thread that he was just taking a picture of himself...eek. You can see from this photo (on the right) that he’s a couple of rows in front of her. It’s maybe a bit annoying but I don’t know if that counts as encroaching on personal space.

Kate worked for Jigsaw three days a week in 2006-7 but left after about a year.

Wetdogloveshubert · 09/07/2019 14:50

Those angles are being played for all they're worth by 'the media'. From where MM was sat, it's clear that it would have looked like he was taking an intrusive photo of her, from a very close position. And even if he wasn't when those photos were taken, he may well have been - and he's obviously moved into a position to take the best photo, so it would have been suspect to the security.

These photos of HM are lovely - she's looking very bright today! The pearls are firmly in place, together with a striking brooch. I can't find any information on it from a brief search, but will come back to it. There must be a 'definitive' guide to her jewellery somewhere.

The Queen is in a fabulous hot pink outfit today in Cambridge, a great hat with matching flowers. When I go grey I am going to wear all the colours.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 09/07/2019 14:55

It doesn't take a second to flip to selfie mode. Could be innocent, could be a ruse.

Why is there no-one sitting anywhere near MM though? What an absolute waste of seats.

Disfordarkchocolate · 09/07/2019 14:58

Even if it was for a selfie why did he have to stand there, he could have stayed in his row.

ElspethFlashman · 09/07/2019 14:58

queensjewelvault.blogspot.com/2012/10/the-gold-filigree-brooch.html?m=1

It's a gift from Singapore in 2012.

And that link is definitely the definitive guide to all her jewellery!

A year part time at Jigsaw. What about the other 9 years?
