And I think we all can agree that it's much more fun if we stick to critiquing the clothes rather than the women!

you see what you want to see imo I sort of agree with you, Maybe H&M only chose the one picture they liked and thought they looked good in, without looking at anybody else?

BertrandRussell · 07/07/2019 10:56

Not sure Meghan can be held responsible for the bracelets!

"manipulative" ha.

I like that Harry wears gap yah beads. A bit of personality never hurt anyone.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 07/07/2019 11:09

Harry’s bangles

Interesting story behind him initially wearing them. Charles and William took him to Africa after diana’s Death.
I wouldn’t be surprised if H&M spend big chunks of time in Africa.
The trip in the autumn is probably a taster to see how they get on.

I think the tension in the photo is very obvious.
Compare M&H who are naturally happy to everyone around them who are repressing so many feelings.
The photo also lacks Gravitas without HM there.

Notmyrealname855 · 07/07/2019 11:20

Zara and mike should’ve gone to make up the numbers, and b&e. Then would’ve been a photo noticeable in saying “we’re family, and all young royals”. If there IS any tension, then tricky for MM - doesn’t seem like she’d have had much time to get to know any of them before her wedding, so if H has any issues with them then not sure what she could do to smooth things over (if she wanted to...awkward for her in any event).

Or... dare I say it... they should’ve released a pic with this lot and godparents, to say “this is our family”. To show they’ve got support and a good network in any event. And might’ve made for a jollier pic!

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 07/07/2019 11:22

I don't hold Camilla more responsible than Charles. I won't even start on my opinion of him. But I think a woman having an affair with another woman's husband throughout the entirety of their marriage, in the full knowledge that his wife knew and was deeply hurt by it, is a special kind of treachery. Women betraying women doesn't sit well with me.

desertgirl · 07/07/2019 11:31

“Women betraying women”

She wasn’t betraying Diana. She was ‘betraying’ APB and being unkind to Diana. Charles was betraying Diana.

Women heaping coals of fire on other women while keeping much quieter about the actual betrayers doesn’t sit well with me.

EleanorReally · 07/07/2019 11:34

wow

lovely video
CurlyWurlyTwirly · 07/07/2019 11:34

@Myimaginarycathasfleas

I completely agree with you.
However it seems to be part of the Aristocratic culture of a certain generation; that once the «heir and spare» were produced; it was a free for all.
Unhappy marriages by the appearances were maintained.
Diana was seen as a trouble maker for complaining.

I didn’t like C&Cs behaviour in the 1990s, and I feel odd that I really like Camilla now. It’s been a spectacular piece of rebranding

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 07/07/2019 11:53

Some of the biographies about the royals give a more rounded picture than the scraps we see in the media. As it turns out, they are only human, and some of them, morally speaking, turn out to be rather weak specimens.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 07/07/2019 11:54

...but they do (often) give good fashion!

completelyclueless1 · 07/07/2019 12:10

When I look at Kate I think it's not possible to be anymore gorgeous. Then i look at Meghan and think exactly the same!

I think woman are a bit like flowers. It's not possible for one to be better than the other. Everyone is just as they should be.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 07/07/2019 12:20

Couldn't agree more, @completelyclueless1. How lucky we are to have lots of different looks, shapes and complexions to enjoy amongst the RF, male and female! (But mainly female!😆)

completelyclueless1 · 07/07/2019 12:27

Yes! Definitely more so for the ladies Grin

Daisypie · 07/07/2019 12:29

That video of Zara's christening is lovely indeed.

QueenOfTheAndals · 07/07/2019 12:31

The last royal woman to marry a looker was prob HM herself! Though Princess Alexandra's son is good-looking so maybe her husband was too.

Maybe Mike tindell with his new nose? Or just me? Wink

beanaseireann · 07/07/2019 12:40

I think Lady Helen Taylor (Kent) husband Tim was very good looking in his youth.
The Sarah Linley Chatto boys are very good looking too.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 07/07/2019 13:15

Thé best has got to be Lady Davina Windsor’s ex husband. New Zealander Gary Lewis

DevonUkelele · 07/07/2019 13:30

What a shame that didn't last @Curly. He is hot!

Though other issues may come into and all that (of course Smile). But in a purely superficial level ...

Paradyning · 07/07/2019 13:48

It looked like APB was talking to Charles in Zara's christening video

StCharlotte · 07/07/2019 14:53

That video is lovely!

I'm afraid I thought Doris was channelling the Queen Mother yesterday.

latedecember1963 · 07/07/2019 15:02

In the Zara Christening film, was her brother Peter wearing the red shorts that we thought were a re wear when George wore red shorts for Charlotte's Christening?

latedecember1963 · 07/07/2019 15:03

Thank you for the new thread, Queen.

Notmyrealname855 · 07/07/2019 15:03
