I have no idea if something has happened or if this was always the plan but did they ever really try to sell us the Fab Four or did the press? It seemed to me like that was a press thing but maybe I'm wrong.

She said she ”fundamentally disagreed” with the idea that “women have to find their voice” She said women already have their voice- they just need to be heard. What’s so very wrong about that?

W&K must be very dull indeed and stuck in the 1950s if they were "horrified" by a woman who was confident and had things to say. I watched that interview and can't see what Meghan did that was so wrong. She was asked a question and gave an answer. And if Kate really did roll her eyes at one point then that reflects poorly on her, not Meghan.

Also allows The Sussexes to do more commercial fundraising activities, such as Harry’s interviews with Oprah

W&K are more restricted due to their future roles.

They were there to talk about their specific areas of interest and what they saw their role in the foundation- she talked about the empowerment and education of women and girls. I can’t see what was wrong with that!

Has it really got to the stage where education for girls is seen as a controversial topic of conversation? Really??

And it's Meghan's "thing". Harry's is Invictus and Sentebale, William's is men's mental health and Kate's is children's welfare. I think it's good that they've got such a wide range of issues covered.

Whoosh that’s what I have an issue with - there should never be any “commercial activities” by royals because of the risk of them profiting in any way from their public position. I already don’t like merching of friends stuff and not sure how Duchy biscuits work but their platform is one of public office and not a chance to do anything commercial, it becomes a very murky area then.

Assuming Harry isn’t going to profit from any of these activities. Honestly I’d make a complaint about it, and I can barely bother about most things!

I doubt it’s an amicable split - come on, it’d be so easy for them to give the Foundation four compartments and then overlap on shared areas. We have no idea what the cause is but obviously this is a clusterfuck- they’ve also very purposively released this info on a big race day for limited impact.
