Now that the Orange One has gone, it's almost time for a visit from the Oranje One! Yes, Queen Max will be attending next Monday's Garter ceremony. It'll be a triplicate fashion face-off between her, Letizia and Kate - who will emerge victorious?

Max looks amazing!! So elegant.

I agree that Leti's dress is not great. Those voluminous sleeves look all wrong on her. Love Max's caped dress.

HM looks a bit - Hobbity.

Max looks amazing. Leti's dress isn't great unfortunately. She normally looks amazing too but its not my fave.

Max is looking very Empress Michiko. Except for being an amazonian Argentinian, lol. But stunning luxe classy outfit. And look no pvc shoes!

Although Wax and Max & Leti and Felipe are all monarchs & consorts; they do seem a bit in awe of being with HM.

There was a lovely interview with Mary Peters in the Telegraph at the weekend. She is being made and Order thingy today I believe. I loved the detail of what she is having as her insignia. it may have included Springers

When I read it I imagined it being Princess Anne or Zara saying it. Zara's expressions during the ceremony made her opinions clear

I can't see Anne or Zara being so rude. I assumed Zara expressions during the ceremony were more to do with being 9 months pregnant on a very hot day.

Anne is known for being very direct but I don't think she has a reputation for bitchy comments.

It's s bitch snide comments it seems more in the style of PMoK or Andrew maybe he seems like the kind of person who would think that is funny!!! Disclaimer no matter how the RF try to re brand him I'm not an Andrew fan!

I can’t imagine Princess Anne saying this kind of bitchy comment...what an unpleasant statement. If this is true, I would think that even if they haven’t taken to Meghan they would only want the best for Harry and keep opinions like this to themselves. I hope they are being kind to her.

I don't think PMoK would be called a senior member of the family really.

The thing is it may be a bitchy comment to say out loud but I expect a lot of the family think the marriage may not last due to their short courtship and difference in background and expectations. I know less blunt comments were made at a relative's wedding and they were right.
