Is 2017 also what Kate wore to Eugenie's wedding? And 2016 to H&M's? I really don't think icy pastel shades are her colours - something deeper suits her better.

Kate's worked out that the chignon is more elegant than the tumbling curls! I'm calling it for chignon and a hatband.

Kate will definitely be wearing a hat. Those headbands are a tad “casual”.

I’d like to see her in pink again.

Although she lies match matchy and as she will be carrying Louis and he will inevitably be wearing a white round collared shirt and navy shorts ( like George) I’m going to go for white and if she’s feeling daring she may wear navy accessories.

The darker pink of 2017 looks really nice on her. But tbh her signature looks are so similar that she could easily repeat the pink coat and hat she wore to the garden party a couple weeks ago!

Pretty breezy here in London ,I'm sure this will be factored in for hair ,hats and hemlines !

I still maintain that it's the most fun being a minor Windsor or Lady Sarah Chatto as you get to do the fun stuff like the Trooping balcony without all the tedious official duties!

In 1964 Edward made an appearance as a baby so it isn't unprecedented. I love Princess Alexandra's striped outfit in 1969, shame a colour photo isn't available. Looks like HM stopped riding in the parade and wearing the uniform in the late 80s.

There is also talk that Meghan will appear at Trooping the Colour.
That would be pretty unexpected.
I think the procession is about 11am.

It wouldn't be that unexpected - Kate put in an appearance last year when Louis was tiny. I know H&M live further away but it's not like there isn't room in Buckingham Palace if they wanted to stay there for a couple of nights! And there won't be a shortage of nannies to look after Archie for a few hours either.

I've been lurking for a while and find the Royals fascinating, some of you are so knowledgeable, hope you don't mind me joining you.

Prince Joachim's second wife Marie is soooo like his sister in law Mary.

I will be very surprised if we see Meghan today. I think Louis will be there, given that Charlotte made her first appearance on the balcony at the same age. Looking forward to all the glam!
