Did anyone else notice the way Harry indicated to Meghan as she turned to say something to him, to look forward by nodding towards the queen , just before the Nat Anthem started ?

Meghan has worn that beret style before. It suits both her and Doria.
As pp said; Meghan wore the most unobtrusive outfit possible.
I really liked the white sleeves and épaulettes on the dress on the balcony.

On the hat front, I wonder if Kate chose to rewear her hat from H and M's wedding as a sign of not feuding? Sorry if that's already been said!

Thought I’d chip in on the wedding ring/Rose thing. I stopped wearing mine about a year ago. No reason, just forgot to put it on one morning, then the next and just fell out of the habit. Perhaps Rose took it off for some reason and forgot to put it back on?

Or of course it could be a sign of much deeper and darker things

I Like the long cream dress with blue flowers that Queen Margethe wore for her son's birthday party.
She strikes me as having quiet dignity when needed but being a lot of fun to be around. I know it's been said on previous threads what an intelligent and accomplished woman she is.

I didn't wear my wedding ring for years after I developed an allergy to it. I was no less married for it. Not wearing my platinum replacement at the moment because one of the bunnies managed to scratch my finger just where the ring sits as I was picking her up the other day. Lots of reasons why someone may not be wearing a ring.

Is there only the one leaked photo so far the black and white eyes closed one? I'm not really getting why they feel the need to remove it from the internet it's not a bad photo. I get they didn't want it released but now it is it would be better just to put it out there now?

I went to Kensington Palace this weekend - there's a new exhibition about Queen Victoria's childhood.

They have three really beautiful tiaras on display - the one with a matching necklace and earrings was designed by Prince Albert for her.

These really high quality pieces are just so stunning when you see them up close, the diamonds and emeralds all sparkling. The Russian-style fringe tiara can also be worn as a necklace.

I really don’t understand why you would want to see someone’s photos that you know are private. What have they done to deserve that?

There's a couple of Kate sightings this week. She and William are visiting Cumbria on Tuesday, where they'll visit farming communities and do some sheep shearing(!) and then she's got a gala dinner (gowns ahoy?) for Action On Addiction on Wednesday evening where she's giving a speech.

I noticed that too roisin! It looked like Meghan was turning to go inside and Harry was indicating that the national anthem was still to be played. It’s about a minute into the video on the Royal Family Channel Twitter, here.

To be fair Charles and Camilla were in mid conversation when the national anthem started and they jumped to attention.
I think Harry mouthed «national anthem» first and then raised his eyebrows indicating the queen so Meghan stood to attention too.

roisinagusniamh Harry appeared to be telling Meghan and Jack Brocksbank I think. Thought there was no interaction between Meghan and Harry after that as they turned to go indoors.
