Previous thread

What neon shade will HM wear? Will the DoE attend? Will Kate have a new coat dress? Will Meghan make an appearance? And which of us will be able to identify every random Windsor on the balcony?

All will be revealed tomorrow...

^^ 🤞🤞 that would be lovely.

mathanxiety · 09/06/2019 07:08

My other guess was Constantine of Greece but I have little confidence in that.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 09/06/2019 07:08

This is so cute of the kids leaving the balcony
George’s wave is « yeah whatever»
Savannah is so happy to be reunited with him!

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 09/06/2019 07:08

@mathsnanxiety
It’s Grand Duke Jean of Luxembourg

itswinetime · 09/06/2019 07:11

Looks like Meghan is the one reminding him to wave cute video they should really just let the younger cousins stand together things have changed no one expects perfect children anymore!

mathanxiety · 09/06/2019 07:12

You are right, Curly - and would that be Josephine behind him and to his right?

QueenOfTheAndals · 09/06/2019 07:12

Of course it is @CurlyWurlyTwirly! I knew he looked familiar!!

Agree @itswinetime, they're just kids after all and George looked to have fun with the Phillips girls last year. Poor kid looked very bored yesterday.

@mathanaxiety
I don’t know if it’s Josephine (probably) I only recognised Grand duke Jean because he died recently.

Digressing slightly it would great if they thinned out the number of Kent’s and Gloucesters and invited some foreign Royals to the a Trooping of the Colour. I would love to see Max in a giant sombrero on that Balcony.

I wonder if Charles will have a cull once he is King and keep it to his siblings and their children and grandchildren ?

itswinetime · 09/06/2019 07:24

I think for a while at Charles will keep his siblings and nieces and nephews around otherwise it will be a very sparse balconyand highlight any issues between William and Harry even more but I'm not sure they will all keep showing up...... Charles doesn't come across as particularly close to the extended family. They obviously all have lots of respect and affection for the queen we will see how that translates.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 09/06/2019 07:39
Balcony is at 2hrs 33 minutes. I just loved Louis’s clapping as well as his waving. He kept saying «ooh» every time he saw a plane and Camilla was saying it back to him.
QueenOfTheAndals · 09/06/2019 07:50

If Max attended then her hats would mean they'd have to cut down balcony numbers!

Did we see much interaction between William and Harry yesterday? Harry, Kate and Meghan seemed to be getting on fine in the carriage ride.

EleanorReally · 09/06/2019 08:03

those photos of young harry are sad that he is being held by presumably his nanny?

itswinetime · 09/06/2019 08:03

Harry meghan and Kate were fine indeed. I saw zero interaction Between William and Harry they both seemed happy and comfortable with others but nothing between the to of them. I don't think we have seen the properly interacting since Harry and Meghan's wedding??

Not sure what the issue is as they seemed fine on the day so I don't buy the whole William doesn't like Meghan (that seems like just another subtle attempt to blame Meghan for me) but there is obviously a problem.

EleanorReally · 09/06/2019 08:03

Perhaps times have changed

EleanorReally · 09/06/2019 08:04

We might not have seen the interaction but it doesnt mean there isnt any

Spudlet · 09/06/2019 08:08

Eleanor Wasn't that Princess Anne?! I really thought it looked like her! Blush

itswinetime · 09/06/2019 08:08

These photos of Harry? Or have I
Missed some because that's princess Anne isn't it?

There may well have been interaction but to go from seeing it to suddenly not seems odd to me especially when it's a reasonable easy press rumour to break a bit of brotherly banter at a public event and it's gone.

MoonstoneMagic · 09/06/2019 08:12

I agree with my imaginary cat about Meghan seeming like she has found contentment. I thought she seemed very different when she did a press call with Archie and also yesterday. She suits having some extra weight and she looks like she’s for an inner contentment now. Maybe motherhood will really be the making of her.
She’s going to have to get a nanny very soon otherwise it will be hard to manage public engagements.

SunshineCake · 09/06/2019 08:16

That is Princess Anne holding Harry. I doubt there would have been a nanny on the balcony back then.

EleanorReally · 09/06/2019 08:19

Yes, you are right, it is Princess Ann

QueenOfTheAndals · 09/06/2019 08:25

Anne's hat is a bit Norland so I can see why she might be mistaken for the nanny!

roisinagusniamh · 09/06/2019 08:32

We haven't heard from Meghan's family since Archie was born. I wonder if they have been paid off?
That's all Mr Markle wanted but I reckon Samantha wanted a piece of fame (as well as money )

MarniLou · 09/06/2019 08:37

Love the way the children's clothes are reused. Harry's to Louis or is it just a copy? I'd never have thought they would be stored all that time.

( makes me feel much better for having my 25/22year old sons' first birthday outfit stored in the hope of a grandson!)
