Previous thread

What neon shade will HM wear? Will the DoE attend? Will Kate have a new coat dress? Will Meghan make an appearance? And which of us will be able to identify every random Windsor on the balcony?

All will be revealed tomorrow...

So the leaked wedding photos... how would one go about finding them :)

EleanorReally · 08/06/2019 14:47

Imagine the sibling rivalry between Charlotte and Louis and George, eek

EleanorReally · 08/06/2019 14:47

I think Kate better have a fourth so Charlotte has an ally.

frugalkitty · 08/06/2019 14:52

I have the same combo of kids as Kate with almost the same age gaps....Charlotte won't need an ally, she'll end up siding with whichever brother she needs to. I think being middle child but the only girl cancels out the alleged 'middle child syndrome too (she says, as the youngest! Grin)

Didn't George wear those shorts or similar too?

I'm pretty sure I remember William in that outfit.

StCharlotte · 08/06/2019 15:12

Well nearly Smile

The outfit George wore to Charlotte’s Christening is a copy.
Not so sure about William / George’s first outing on the balcony. They actually look like the same romper.

We’ve definitely seen George / Louis in. Few of these and Charlotte in a few of these dresses

Meghan looks the way I would expect a woman to look who has recently given birth.
I was a decade younger than her after my first and didn't go out without my baby until she was five weeks old and that was only for about an hour. I bet Meg can't wait to get back to Archie.
However, the outfit is a mistake . It's way too old and frumpy on her.

itswinetime · 08/06/2019 15:25

Do we know who anyone was wearing yet?

RhubarbIsEvil · 08/06/2019 15:32

The diamond jubilee when some decided making people stand on boats for hours and having a pop concert was the best way to celebrate was for and 86 and 90 year old!. Would that be the then Mayor London, Boris Johnson? God help the RF if he becomes PM

RhubarbIsEvil · 08/06/2019 15:44

Love this video of Louis whacking Camilla’s hat Grin. Bam

RhubarbIsEvil · 08/06/2019 15:52

Hilarious picture of Louis looking out of the window at BP

hopeishere · 08/06/2019 16:08

Kate looks amazing and so happy. Interesting necklace choice.

Meghan looks tired but fab. She's obviously breastfeeding and is dressing to accommodate boobs.

itswinetime · 08/06/2019 16:15

I didn't think Megan's dresses looked easy for breastfeeding at all unless you could undo it from the front?

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 08/06/2019 16:24

Someone will no doubt put me right about this but would Meghan be avoiding having her hair chemically straightened at the moment, therefore the need for a very close hairdo?

TipseyTorvey · 08/06/2019 16:31

I think Meghan did the right thing wearing navy for this occasion to be bland and stay hidden. She's had horrible press for being too showy so given she's just had a baby and needed to just show up this was the right choice. I do agree with pp that the hat could have been more elaborate and elegant though. Kate looks fab. There's no way I could have looked as good as Meghan 5 weeks post partum but maybe staff and chef type people make it a bit easier 😊

AppleKatie · 08/06/2019 16:36

I agree I think Meghans outfit was designed to make her as unobtrusive as possible. Entirely safe, bland and faultlessly appropriate. Poor woman probably needed the double layer of dress and cape to hide the 87 breast pads she’s wearing...

beanaseireann · 08/06/2019 16:43

Kate looks great.
I think Meghan looks different. I mean really different.I first noticed it when she was photographed with Harry and Archie.
I remember commenting to DD2 that she looked so different. I can't put my finger on what it is though.

LadyBrienneofTarth · 08/06/2019 16:46

Who is the boy on the balcony with the broken arm ?

Spudlet · 08/06/2019 16:46

Well, I think they all look lovely.

Meghan looks lovely, also rather like I did when I staggered out of my bedroom in the morning and said 'I had a brilliant night last night, I got a whole three hour stretch of sleep!' [narrows eyes at ds]. Only I was far less glam and a lot more frazzled!

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 08/06/2019 16:51

It's nice to see the RF looking so happy & relaxed whilst on official duty. It makes this year's Trooping the Colour appear extra special.
(Must be because everyone is now giddy with relief now that the Trumps have gone.)

All the family look great & Louis is so adorable. I suspect he's going to be a real character as he gets older.
I did a double take as I thought I saw George V on the balcony! It was actually Prince Michael of Kent.

ElspethFlashman · 08/06/2019 16:54

Supposedly Archie isn't at Buckingham Palace at all. Or wasn't in their car with them at any rate. Their Nanny must have started already, as no word of Doria being around. Though their doula could still be an option as I know a lot of them do post-birth help too.

Do they still have use of Nott Cottage as a London base?

AppleKatie · 08/06/2019 17:01

I’m willing to bet he was at Buckingham palace but taken in more unobtrusively so he wouldn’t be photographed.

She will have needed to feed him or pumped at the very least.

itswinetime · 08/06/2019 17:07

She will have needed to feed him or pumped at the very least.

If she is breast feeding which she might well be but she also might not we have no idea. Maybe she found it easier to not have him there imagine if he got fussy right as she had to step out onto the balcony. Or maybe he was there and they borrowed the Cambridge nannies for the day as I'm guessing they were with the kids while the carriages ect was going on.
