Oh yes, never - this is the jumpsuit I was talking about this morning. I do look like a bit of a weeble from the side, but it's very comfy. I couldn't photo the back easily, and it's showing my bra a bit under one of the shoulders, but I do have other bras that don't show...and the back isn't low enough to show anything which is useful.

neveradullmoment99 · 14/06/2019 22:13

Nice blouse. Thanks for the link @NotAnActualSheep There are so many tempting sales. Its so hard not to buy anything but the dungarees were pricey enough and not even in the sale.

neveradullmoment99 · 14/06/2019 22:14

Its utterly lovely. I really like it on you. That's a great buy. I think it looks quite similar to mine apart from the back.

neveradullmoment99 · 14/06/2019 22:15

Its similar in shape and pockets at the front and even the length of it.

NotAnActualSheep · 14/06/2019 22:26

Thanks never. Yes, they do have a certain style that hasn't changed that much over the past few years! They do sell second hand well for that reason I think. It definitely wasn't really cheap on ebay... I think about £55 or £60, but the seller had been really helpful with measurements and details, so I was pretty certain what I would be getting, and it was basically pristine.

neveradullmoment99 · 14/06/2019 22:31

Ebay is a good place to pick up Toast things but I sell more than I buy on it! I have had loads of Toast things over the years but have sold a lot mostly down to getting fed up with things, freshening up my wardrobe and weight gain/loss!

neveradullmoment99 · 14/06/2019 22:38

I had a gorgeous pair of denim wide leg dungarees but they always annoyed me because they were slightly too short. I ended up selling them. They used to have amazing archive sales when they used to put stuff from years gone by on their website for dirt cheap. There sales used to be absolutely bargainous. Not so much now. Half the stuff are at prices of hush things before the sale!

SoyYo · 14/06/2019 22:51

The toast jumpsuit is great not, love the shape/colour and effortless vibe. It really suits you and it flows!
I’ve been tempted to look in the toast sale and strongly resisting so far...you, never and laska are making it very hard indeed Grin

Huff great jewellery site you linked to. Thanks! I want it all now! There’s a lovely ankle gold chain, amazing shell earrings on there!

neveradullmoment99 · 14/06/2019 22:54

Ooooh i love the shell earrings😍😍

justilou1 · 14/06/2019 23:23

@Ellapaella - a bit late to the party, but I love the Antik Batik top! It’s soooo pretty!!!

All the dungarees are adorable!!! I lived in loose linen dungarees from UNIQLO this summer, but lost some weight and gave them away as they were too big. I’d buy them again! I loved how they seemed to get softer and looser with each wash. They were perfect for evenings here that weren’t too swelteringly hot. I hope they bring out new ones next summer! (We are not as spoiled for choice as you lot, and I’m not sure I’m up for braving the snooty 12 year olds at Zara, or buying the falling apart crap from H&M!)
@Ella, LOVE the silk!!! I bet you feel like a swishy mermaid in that Mediterranean blue! You can only be sent straight back to where you purchased it!!! It’s so you!!!

Well, our five minutes of winter appears to have been and gone. Yesterday was 27’ C. My eldest daughter was asking how on earth she was ever expected to wear her favourite boots in this place. Someone is Mummy’s girl as far as weather and fashion are concerned.
I’m going to grab another coffee and wake the kids up and prepare for this weekend’s sporting taxi duty. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

justilou1 · 14/06/2019 23:25

Whoops! I meant to say @Soy!!!! I’m definitely having that second coffee!!! (This is what happens when your husband keeps repeatedly coming into the bedroom and waking you up from 5am to get stuff he’s forgotten!!!)

neveradullmoment99 · 15/06/2019 08:36

After a beautiful day yesterday, the rain is here :( Its funny how we get used to having fine and dry weather. When It starts to rain here, it forgets to stop. I hate it. Only thing I really hate about where I live is that it rains too much. Anyway, had planned a day out today but not really sure as it doesn't look that great.
Was on the Toast website again and noticed that the shirt I had coveted for ever was almost sold out. So have ordered it just to try as I really cannot afford it and wanted to scratch the itch. I will most probably do some ebay selling before I go on holiday so if it is a keeper will hopefully offset the price. I have deep buyers guilt atm but know I can return it without any issue and get my money back and Toast are usually fairly quick with their refunds.

neveradullmoment99 · 15/06/2019 08:38

The shirt I have ordered is the long grandad tunic cotton one in pale blue with pinstripes. It may just be far too long anyway as the model is very tall. I was planning on wearing it over leggings but we will see. Its still far too expensive at the price. I need to get it out of my system. Should arrive Tuesday.

neveradullmoment99 · 15/06/2019 08:42

Also ordered it in a 12 but have a feeling that it will be too big although was a bit worried about it being narrow across my bust.

SoyYo · 15/06/2019 09:14

Morning! Just having my first coffee (was up till late watching film) and it’s a beautiful day in East Anglia today so my commiserations never and Hope the shirt is good. You’d have wondered forever if you hadn’t ordered and at least you and other girls in this thread are good at EBaying whereas I’m not. Maybe DH will agree to becoming my eBay PA...
justi thank you for the compliment and 27C you say? Perfect temperature for me but totally understand how you long for winter after your never ending Queensland summers.
I’m returning the Black jigsaw dress I’ve decided it really won’t get enough wear and have more than enough stuff that needs more outings.
not Forgot to answer I’ve never been to Colombia but I’m South American so this is why I’ve drawn the short straw on the Bogotá project, as culturally and linguistically I’m able to do the chameleon thing with local teams.
We shall see...

For now Wishing You a Fabulous Weekend!

GinandGingerBeer · 15/06/2019 10:23

Stumbles bleary eyed onto thread after living up to my username and drinking too much gin (passionfruit, and it was delicious 😋)
Love the outfit you bought in Spain @Soy/villanelle it looks fabulous on you and I bet you feel, amazing in it.
Enjoy your lunch @huff. I like all your combos, dress is v pretty, jacket is gorgeous. I've bought from silk Fred before, I have a lovely holiday dress from them. Never tried to return anything though.

NotAnActualSheep · 15/06/2019 10:26

Thanks soy and just for the jumpsuit love! I agree that linen is great in that it softens beautifully with washing. I know toast is a bit marmite, but I do like the style (someone on another thread described a dress someone was considering buying as "a bit amish summer holiday", and bizarrely that didn't seem like a bad thing to me 😂). Plus lots of natural fibres and ethical construction and whatnot.

I agree the sales still start off quite expensive, though they do seem to discount heavily later on.. though obviously on the less popular stuff. never I think you've done well on the shirt as it does seem v popular and it does look gorgeous and useful. Even if you send it back, at least you know!

I confess I have never sold on ebay... Too scared to deal with scammers or people demanding the moon on a stick, or trying it on cos you haven't listed every bobble. To be fair, I think the genuine "mistakes" I've made in buying are in single figures, and I don't go wild, so I just pass them onto charity shops. We have a few that don't deal entirely in primark and supermarket clothes, and price better brands fairly, so they won't sell a cashmere jumper for 1.99 or whatever - though I have paid that on ebay sometimes Smile.

Oof just. That is hot... Sorry your winter has passed so quickly! Enjoy the taxi duty... I need to collect DS from gym in a second and I am outraged as the cafe in the leisure centre is closed! I couldn't bring myself to get my coffee from the vending machine, so I've been sitting here like a zombie un-caffeinated.

soy that is very sensible... Though laska will be outraged. And, yes, you do sound the obvious choice for columbia (what with your nefarious connections Grin) , but still...little bit scary...

Can't quite figure out what the weather's doing today. I think a bit Wysiwyg... But it probably doesn't matter, as we have friends coming round tonight, and others for tomorrow lunch (we are never this social) so the rest of the day is going to be spent in a panic tidy/clean/ cook frenzy cos I am so unprepared. Aaaaargh.

Ellapaella · 15/06/2019 10:35

@NotAnActualSheep love the jumpsuit. Looks very nice - great casual summer vibes. Re eBay I sell quite a bit but in the description I always say something along the lines of 'please bear in mind that this is a used second hand item and while I can't see any obvious blemishes there may be signs of wear and tear. If you are wanting pristine condition please don't bid'
Then I put loads of photos on. The above might seem a bit harsh but honestly it keeps away the twats who just want to get you to refund them and let them keep it because you didn't mention the tiny bobble on the inside of the jumper in the description. I've never had any trouble with buyers since I started doing that.

It's sunny up here in the North East right now. Taken EllaPup to the vets for her check and just about to go and sit in garden with a cuppa. I have to finish my presentation for work today but tomorrow we are off the the county show - can't wait. Hope you all have a lovely Saturday

twosoups1972 · 15/06/2019 11:10

Morning all

Hope everyone had a lovely Friday evening with KE and lots of Wine

@NotAnActualSheep I really like the jumpsuit, lovely and summery.

@Huffthepuff what have you decided to wear today?

I will be spending much of today getting 12 year old dd ready for her school residential which leaves tomorrow morning. Just trying to predict how many meltdowns (hers or mine!) there will be today Grin Meanwhile dh is swanning around perfectly relaxed asking me why I'm stressed! I need to make one more trip to the shops to pick up a pair of long denim shorts for dd (that she will probably reject) and another pair of leggings. So looking forward to the packing to be done. Dh and I are going out for a meal with friends tonight. Happy Saturday everyone!

Ninkaninus · 15/06/2019 11:58

Hi everyone ☀️🍹🍍💃( pretending to be somewhere else far more lovely —and frankly also someone else far more fabulous— )

I love all the outfits, particularly jumpsuits, dungarees, embroidered jackets and silken deliciousness. You all look gorgeous and lovely and put together as usual.

Also loving the links to jewellery and beautiful things which I know would really cheer me up right now (have struggled with the most awful low mood for the past week or two) but I really can’t afford to get...because I went ahead and bought the Mulberry bag! 😊😊 I feel awful for still wanting cheering up as that’s ridiculous when I’ve been fortunate enough to get a very expensive bag, but I guess that’s how the mind works - sadly the high only lasts so long and soon enough you’re left wanting the next lovely thing...must definitely work on that.

Soy I think you asked me about the gold sizzle shoes - yes I received them and I will be keeping them (even though it feels like it’s going to be the kind of summer where I might not actually get the chance to wear them!); I spied yours on your photos and they suit your fabulous outfits perfectly!

💐💐 again to anyone who needs cheering up.

Ellapaella · 15/06/2019 12:28

@Ninkaninus that is a thing of beauty! 😍

goodluckandgodspeed · 15/06/2019 12:33

Ninkaninus that is beautiful and I am jealous!

goodluckandgodspeed · 15/06/2019 12:34

I feel like I need a lottery win.

Ninkaninus · 15/06/2019 12:38

Thank you. 🌷 It’s actually a sort of wedding present to myself in lieu of a ‘proper’ wedding - I figured I’ve saved us at least a few thousand pounds by not having a wedding venue/dress/bridesmaids/reception etc etc etc.

SoyYo · 15/06/2019 12:55

Nink that Mulberry bag is totally gorgeous! I’m glad you finally got it and your logic re wedding expenses saved makes total sense to me 👍
I only own one Mulberry (old East West style black) and it’s amazing how well it’s lasted that I wouldn’t mind investing in another one again.
Virtually indestructible and I’m not very careful with handbags.
Also glad you liked the gold sandals. I remember now why they’re so comfy: it’s because they have a hidden elastic bit on the leather which adjusts to your foot width (I’ve wide feet) genius!

not I’ve always loved the Amish Toast vibe, I’m trying hard not to look at their sale 🙈

soups good luck with DD packing! Hope you’ll have a chance to relax tonight with friends once it’s all done

It’s turned very grey now so spoke too soon. I don’t know if it’s the weather/shock of being back but feeling quite tired today.

ella good luck with elladog!Grin great tip on eBay disclaimer.

Huff I’m sure whatever you ended up wearing today made you look and feel fabulous. Don’t forget to samba! 💃
