never quick one as I’ve got a work call. I like the dungarees! Fabric looks lovely and will be so much lighter than denim should summer decide to make an appearance 👍

neveradullmoment99 · 14/06/2019 11:04

Oh and as for stains, I put an apron on @NotAnActualSheep and end up with the stain where the apron doesn't cover. I usually change when I am cooking tbh.

neveradullmoment99 · 14/06/2019 11:05

Thanks @SoyYo :)

Ellapaella · 14/06/2019 11:05

Ha ha @SoyYo I did wonder what peeked hair was 😁
@NotAnActualSheepyou made me laugh out loud about my dog - that is so true! She wouldn't touch her usual food this am, holding out for cooked chicken I think little beggar!

Ellapaella · 14/06/2019 11:07

@neveradullmoment99 like the dungas - are they from Toast? Do you like and are you going to keep?

Ellapaella · 14/06/2019 11:10

Why is Toast written as Toa. St? Is it because it's named after somewhere called Toa Street? Sorry if I'm being daft butI need to know!

Laska2Meryls · 14/06/2019 11:15

never you are as bad as me re your body image ! (or perhaps not , I am my absolute worst critic!!) .. I think those Toast dungies look really fab on you ..Keep them! annoying about the non-adjustable straps though, Just why?

Grin Not (the new Paul Mc Kenna) .. I haven't yet but i expect i will. I have no will power What do you think of this top? will I look pregnant in it do you think.

Cherries you will look fab , once they are redone I am sure ( its still not putting me off yet.. I think.). Hmm not great for campervanning, where are you going? , I have capitulated and put the heating on.. I mean i am spending so much atm , I might as well give the gas company some as well! Am just-re-pinking the hair , so I have to walk around in a vest top until its done!

soy that chicken and rice thing will a meal for guests tomorrow.. looking forward to it! Well dont for losing! My 'diet' ? (what diet?)

Hi gin and TwoSoups Smile

Laska2Meryls · 14/06/2019 11:20

Ella I think your dog is half cat!! ours would often refuse foodthat he liked previously and hold out for the better stuff once he got a taste for it.. (but in the end he would gave in .. with a lemon face - eat a very little bit just to show us he was still overlord , and then sulk off for a few hours )

neveradullmoment99 · 14/06/2019 11:23

@Ellapaella, I think its Toa.st because when people search TOAST it comes up with all sorts of stuff. It used to be many years ago, Toastbypost. They have lost the by post. The dungas are from toast.
I'm inclined to keep them but I may just return them on a whim. I will mull it over. I really like them but they aren't perfect but in all fairness, its hard to get a jumpsuit/dungarees that are spot on. I wear my hush dungarees a lot but I really don't want to buy another pair in black until a sale reduces them as they are ££

Huffthepuff · 14/06/2019 11:24

Hi everyone! 👋

Have been following the thread but have been on the no spend bench so not posting much. Need to give my cc a chance to cool off so I will be paying it off this month rather than adding to it. Not been sale shopping and trying to avoid looking. I don't really need anything right now apart from jeans. Have my eyes on the Moritz still

Never I really like those dungarees on you! They look comfy and very cool. If they are linen is there a risk of shrinkage? Or would they loosen up. They look very flattering from your pics. Did you keep the Hush dungarees in the end from last year?

Ella I love the Antik Batik top! You look gorgeous. I've bought a blouse of theirs from eBay before, just love their boho style. Great find. Poor dog! We have a poorly pup at the moment too. She ripped her pad off during a walk and has been bandaged up for two weeks with no walks allowed. She's been wearing the cone of shame and isn't allowed walks. She hates us right now I'm sure 😂 I hope Ellapup recovers swiftly from the op 🦴

Soyo incredible weight loss! Well done! I'm so impressed. I was doing really well with my no wine and healthy eating and lost a few pounds but have let things slide again and have put it back on 🤬 thank you for the motivation. I'm fed up of feeling bloated so I'm back on the soup and no booze.

Laska loved the Toast bits. I'm glad you're going to get the smaller kimono wrap top, it's fabulous and will be really useful for your holiday and wearing back in the uk too I think.

Cherries sorry to hear about needing another op. You're sounding very positive and proactive about it though which is brilliant. How is your course going? Have you had to do any prep or coursework yet?

Len hope journey was ok and you're soon to be in the sunshine with your pretty sandals and a cuppa 🤗 have a fab holiday

DrNotjustaboutthepinetrees gorgeous Toast bits 😍what did you decide to keep in the end?

Soups sorry to hear dd is getting frustrated with her hair. Do you follow Rochelle Humes on Instagram? She's written loads about the CG method and embracing her natural curls. She's written a book (for much younger kids I think) about it. How old is your niece Ella? Could be more age appropriate for her? Anyway, she's quite inspiring and has fabulous hair.

Got my fancy London lunch tomorrow which I'm looking forward to. Still no idea what to wear. The weather looks a bit better so maybe my Hush black and pink maxi skirt with black vest and denim jacket. I'd like to wear the Portobello top but my jeans are way too scruffy to go with it. I sent back the Boden espadrilles I had on backorder as they were too narrow

neveradullmoment99 · 14/06/2019 11:26

I am currently wearing them as I type.. a bit like you @Laska2Meryls and your jumper. I got money off them. They were originally £130 but I got them for £110 as they sent me a discount code an age ago and it lay in my basket undecided for months! The stuff is just so expensive but HUSH LISTEN ON! the quality is just beautiful.

NotAnActualSheep · 14/06/2019 11:27

Haha never! Yup, apron and everything. Manage to target the only spot of my body not covered up. Its like magic.

TBH I think I prefer yours to the Lydia ones... its more versatile as you can wear different tops underneath (which you can with the Lydia too, but you kind of have to with dungarees so doesn't bulk out the "intended" look) and they do look neater fitting. I have a couple of Lydia dresses (ebay!) and love them, but I haven't actually tried a Jersey jumpsuit. The dresses are pretty heavy Jersey which may be too much for a jumpsuit? The jumpsuit I have (also ebay Blush) has the same style low scooped buttoned back as the Lydia, which I think is really elegant, and is a similar shape, but is a pale striped linen. I like the "bagginess" of it for summer, though its probably not the most flattering... though the m which I had tried on in a similar linen style just went too far on the bagginess front even for me...
I'm just off out, but I'll post a photo this afternoon (if I can bear to get out of my jumper into bare arms...)

ilovecherries · 14/06/2019 11:36

never, I like the dungas on you, and I think your tummy is a normal adult woman one, it’s in no way horrible. And linen will stretch out a bit. You look lovely.

My dog sounds like Ellapup. She almost has the vapours after any visit to the vet (where, to be fair, she often has nasty stuff done as she’s on long term treatment). She looks pathetically into her bowl, refuses to eat and will only rally after being hand feed some poached chicken. Whereupon she will decide she’s going to live, but continues to try and mooch chicken every time I open the fridge for a couple of days.

Hi huff, course going well, thanks, although suspect I will never be truly stylish as comfort is king as far as I’m concerned. Just trying to do that in a slightly more stylish way!

I bikini pic popped up in my iPhone memories this morning. Taken two years ago today, when I had already lost 21 lbs (we were in a private villa in Mallorca). OMG. Anyway, to cheer myself up I took another one today, and am currently admiring ‘old bird in a bikini with wonky tits’ 😂

Haha, I texted it to DH and his first reply was ‘who’s that?’. Followed 20 second later with one saying ‘bloody, hell, it’s you!’

I never get any Toast discount codes.. Sad

Laska2Meryls · 14/06/2019 11:44

we gotta see it cherries (you can get Mn to take it down after)

neveradullmoment99 · 14/06/2019 12:28

Thank you so much everyone :) Well I wore them to the Post Office! So I guess they are mine. Have posted the medium back and an ebay parcel that I had to post out to someone.
Well its actually nice and sunny and warmish here. So up in a wee cardi, tee, chunky w.stuff necklace and dungarees and my chunky sandals. Feel good! and comfy! Also realised that they are kind of blue/grey which Is quite a verasatile colour for tops and cardis.
@NotAnActualSheep I wish I could find things on ebay. I need to do more of what you are doing. I have had the short and long version of the Lydia dress.I sold both due to weight gain then weight loss. They were lovely. Must do ebay more often. I think I may hunt for a Lydia dress.

neveradullmoment99 · 14/06/2019 12:29

Oh and @NotAnActualSheep I would like to see the linen jumpsuit on you. It sounds nice.

neveradullmoment99 · 14/06/2019 12:47

@Laska2Meryls I never ever get them either. They are a rarity. No idea why they sent me one. They are as rare as hens teeth. I doubt I will EVER see one again!

GinandGingerBeer · 14/06/2019 12:47

Good to here you're keeping them @never. I love them!
Now I'm going to tell you off,,,,,,, you have a a fabulous figure, honestly you really do. What tummy? Now behave and embrace your beautiful bod Smile

neveradullmoment99 · 14/06/2019 13:59

Thank you so much everyone. You have all been so kind. I feel a bit shit about myself atm [ a bit like you said @laska] I don't know, suppose my SIL having such bad news has made me think that life is too short to worry about what i'm eating and I feel a bit derailed and so keep eating and hating myself for it!

neveradullmoment99 · 14/06/2019 14:03

That is so nice of you to say @GinandGingerBeer and after having had 6 children [ I did have twins] I suppose I shouldn't be so harsh on myself but its so hard not to focus on what you hate about yourself.

twosoups1972 · 14/06/2019 14:14

I have some new clothes to consider - striped skirt from Boohoo, bargain at £11. It’s not great quality but I like it. And the Jigsaw jacket which I’m still not sure is too big...?

I love the skirt @twosoups1972. It looks really expensive so keep!
Love all the tops. You suit them all and they really flatter your figure. The jigsaw embroidered jacket is ok, its not huge on you but think it would look great styled with black trousers or jeans and a simple top under it. I would try that and then make a decision on it. I wouldnt send it back at that price. Ebay it!!! I am sure you will get more. It was £25 so i am sure it will sell for more esp if you leave it a while.
