Just that really, intrested to see where people my age are shopping.

OP posts:
cardy1969 · 01/06/2019 17:33

My favourite is Zara but also H&M, Topshop (probably too old ), Warehouse. Bershka, and Monki are recent new favs.

didireallysaythat · 01/06/2019 17:36

eBay - I'm not so bothered about this month's fashion, I know what styles and colours suit me and second hand I can afford better made pieces.

Zenithbear · 01/06/2019 17:37

H&M mainly with bits from everywhere else including charity shops. Although I have enough clothes to last me several years so rarely add more, just replace favourites and I now prioritise holidays.

OrdinarySnowflake · 01/06/2019 17:41

Boden (their petite range fits me perfectly)
Oasis (mainly for workwear)
M&S
Jaeger
New Look
Charity shops

niceupthedanceagain · 01/06/2019 17:47

Stories
Arket for tops as their bottoms are weird sizes
Whistles
M&S
Toast (only a couple of bits as they are enormous billowy things)

Dora26 · 01/06/2019 17:48

White Stuff
Next (jeans mainly - I am a weird shape!)
H and M
Marks a bit

Really getting the hang of online shopping and loving it - just buying what I need and not losing swathes if time round crowded shops - win/win

trader21c · 01/06/2019 17:58

Hush, H&M, Hobbs, comptoir des cotonniers, Mango, bit of Boden

CountFosco · 01/06/2019 18:16

This year I've bought from:
M&S
GH Bass
Arket
DiskoKids
French Connection
Hush
Toast
Boden

I'm late 40s but don't really think age should make that much difference, although I guess at this age I'm no longer paying for expensive childcare and DH are working more than we did when the DC were preschool age. But we're spending more on holidays since the kids finally appreciate culture.

Doobydoo · 01/06/2019 18:19

50 soon!
Seasalt
M&S but only for underwear.
Brora and Pure in sales.

DramaRamaLlama · 01/06/2019 18:24

Ted baker
Kooples
Whistles
Mint Velvet
Outnet

crosspelican · 01/06/2019 18:51

And Other Stories
Zara
Some H&M
All Saints

Live in my Topshop jacket but boycott Philip Green now, but that's not hugely hard since they became rubbish anyway.

crosspelican · 01/06/2019 18:53

Topshop black leather biker jacket, I meant to say.

I'm 40, btw.

PaulHollywoodsleftbollockhair · 01/06/2019 19:05

Mainly The White Company.

vitaminC · 01/06/2019 19:16

I'm 45 and the past couple of years I've mainly bought stuff from:

Comptoir des Cotonniers
Gérard Darel
Esprit
IKKS
and the odd bit from Baukjen.

tierraJ · 01/06/2019 19:17

I'm 42 & have a fairly low budget.

Usually Dorothy Perkins, New Look, Primark, F&F at Tesco; if I have more money I like River Island, Topshop, Zara, Monsoon / Accessorize, Schuh.

tierraJ · 01/06/2019 19:18

Oh yes & I bought a pretty dress in Oasis sale recently, some lovely but pricey for me clothes in there.

HundredMilesAnHour · 01/06/2019 19:18

For clothes: Asos (for Asos Design and Asos White), Hush (sale time only), Finery (for work), Cos, Burberry (factory shop near me), Browns East, Rains, Orwell & Austen

For shoes: Paul Smith, Tracey Neuls, Yuul Yie, Rejina Pyo, Nike, Stella for Adidas. I never scrimp on shoes as good shoes can make an inexpensive outfit look fabulous but will try to wait until sale time or when I have a discount.

I'm 49.

mizu · 01/06/2019 19:22
  1. eBay mostly for TOAST items or COS. I do like a good quality denim dress Grin

Very rarely buy new but if I do I like And Other Stories / Urban Outfitters for the odd thing / Topshop / Zara

NannyRed · 01/06/2019 19:50

Fatface for day to day type jeans, t-shirts and tops etc.
Roman Originals for dresses for ‘occasions’ and a bit nicer stuff. Fab thing with both shops, (apart from good prices) is I know if I pick up something in my size, it will fit.

LadyKylieShagworthy · 01/06/2019 19:51

eBay and charity shops but I like Boden, mint velvet, white company, some M&S stuff, Crew, Mango.

BoogleMcGroogle · 01/06/2019 20:05

This year I've bought from:
Jigsaw
Hobbs
Sainsbury's
Fat Face
Loft ( only available in the US I think)
Gap ( not impressed with the quality)
John Lewis own brand ( coat, had to return, it fell apart)
Next
French Connection
Uniqlo
Clarks for shoes
Kate Spade ( for bags, in the States)
Cos
Joules
Just bought a denim jacket from Oasis, which I love.

I'm a really not cool dresser. But whatever I wore I wouldn't look cool. I think I look stylish-ish, at least well put together on a good day, but I'm sure never cool. I tend to order online, often from John Lewis as I am time poor and live in a bit of a shopping desert. I'm 41 and finally feel I know my style after a decade in the wilderness ( babies, no time, job, got podgier, droopy bits etc.)

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 01/06/2019 20:22

Whistles
Cos
Topshop
Other Stories
Warehouse

Less often from

Zara

Mendips · 01/06/2019 20:29

Jigsaw
Mint Velvet
Joules

luckylavender · 01/06/2019 20:37

Gap, Boden, Topshop, Seasalt, Ghost. I miss East.

DarthLipgloss · 01/06/2019 20:41

My stuff is from
ASOS
TopShop
Primark
Random hippy shops (for harem pants, silver jewellery, odd maxi dresses)
Zara
NewLook
