Are saltwater sandals worth it?

I want some nice sandals that won’t fall to bits like the new look ones I buy every year! I have Birkenstock’s but find they actually hurt my feet after a while as the arch support is just too high and hard - and I have high arches! I actually feel more comfortable in shoes that don’t have them in as weird as that sounds.

Anyway I’ve been eyeing up salt waters and wondered if anyone would recommend? Sorry if this has been done to death.

I walk a lot at work and like going out and about in the summer so would really like some I can wear all day.

Thanks!

I have a black original pair, they look new after 3 summers, and a rose gold classic slide pair which still look new after 2 summers. I wear them all summer with no issues - I find they are dressier than flip flops but still casual.

I wear the ankle strap pair if I am doing more walking.

If I was to buy a third pair I would go for tan classic's.

I couldn't get my foot into the retros, I have got a high instep though, I tried stretching them out a bit as said in the instructions but still didn't fit, so going back. They did look nice but too expensive to keep without a perfect fit

Got mine today - love them! So comfy and they look fab. I’m a happy customer
