It was a rickety old light aircraft, though - I’d rather go by train. It flew 2 hours at 7,000 ft so fortunately it’s a calm day today.

Not sure Kate would be in Scotland at this time of year, would she? It isn't school holidays.

Good choice by DOC for a retro look. The wind has done Kate a favour as that dress looks very matronly otherwise. It's too long to be midi and two or three inches too short to be a maxi... so it falls at a weird place for her. A bit busy for me though.
She has a very similar dress by LK Bennett in green.

Abigail Spencer wore it at the Royal wedding. I think Kate should copy her and wear it with a belt next time. Kate does not accessorise enough!

Max’s dress is Ralph Lauren. She’s managed to make it more interesting than the styling in the advertisement.

I like it overall but agree the length is weird. It needs to be a couple of inches shorter. Although I think it's supposed to be that long - Abigail's version is the same length.

Oh Max, no. I don't like dresses that lace up at all, I always think they look a bit cheap - although that was clearly anything but.

Not a fan of that blue spotty thing Kate is wearing either - the waist is too low. The belt that woman at the wedding wore helped but I don't think it's a great dress, to be honest, on anyone.

Abigail Spencer looks like she’s auditioning for the role of Mary Poppins.

I didn't like that dress at all on Abigail Spencer, it looked very drab for a wedding. The belt ruined the line too. It looks a lot better on Kate.

That dress looks like a dodgy nighty on Kate.

I like the dress on Kate, except for the buttoned up collar. I don't know how she can wear things done up like that and she seems to be fond of those droopy collars, yuck! Length, colour and cut are fine, it's really just the collar I don't like on anyone her

I absolutely haaaaate that Alessandro Rich dress. It's far too severe and a dreadful length and honestly so old fashioned.

And it does nothing for her figure. In some pics she literally looks like a pencil.

I'm sorry but I'm gonna say it, she's lost even more weight and some of the pics today are really concerning.

CP Mary wins the . today! Lovely cut and colour to the dress, a very elegant turn out.

Kate looks a bit drab in the blue and white spotty dress, but she looks better than Abigail Spencer did, the Edwardian Nanny look doesn't suit either of them.

Sorry to disagree but I think Kate looks lovely! I think it’s a lot more interesting than the usual coat/dresses which can be a bit drab.
I don’t like Max’s outfit but love the shoes!

I really dislike Kate's dress. The weird 1970's collar just doesn't do it for me, the length is neither beast nor fowl and it needs another button at the bottom to stop inadvertent flashing. Didn't like it on Abigail Spencer either, a shirt dress just doesn't seem formal enough for a royal wedding. Her casual looks have been lovely this week though.

The DM has plenty of pics of the DoC from today's visit and it's pretty obvious she's on the Botox. It's not badly done but she could lay off it a while, she doesn't need it and is starting to look a bit frozen.

Max's dress looks like someone from the wardrobe department of Game of Thrones got a side gig at Ralph Lauren.

CPM's dress and shoes are great! The jacket doesn't suit the outfit though.

I really like Kate’s dress today. The length makes it current and it suits her very well. It isn’t often I like her clothes but I like this one. Her weight loss is not a good example to young girls and I find it ironic that she is a mental health ambassador.

I really like kate’s Dress, just wished she chose sandals instead.
About the length , if the dress was a bit shorter it would literally be a 40s dress.

Maybe H&M don’t want visitors just yet, or maybe they’ve all set a date for their visit in advance.
