Not a fan of the net curtain evening wedding dress.

Sophie W's shoes for both outfits were shockingly bad. Bea looks a fright in the evening, all lumpy and bumpy and we know that she isn't so she must just choose really badly fitting clothes - like her mother.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 20/05/2019 08:02

frugal I have never seen GOT but I've heard the denouement about 8 times already this morning so I think you'll have to wear a blindfold and ear plugs!

QueenOfTheAndals · 20/05/2019 08:04

Beatrice really can't do big event dressing. She looks fine at other times but all that sheer yesterday was too OTT and looked like she was trying way too hard.

Video of Kate talking about her garden

I thought the DoC actually sounded less halting and more confident than usual talking about her woodland garden, which looked beautiful.

In the unlikely circumstance of finding themselves impoverished, the Cambridges could make some money hiring out their children for fashion shoots.

QueenOfTheAndals · 20/05/2019 09:26

They could, couldn't they? All the young royals would probably be fine in that event - William could go back to being a pilot, Kate and Harry would be in demand as photographers, and there's no end to our Megs' resourcefulness!

I love DOC's hair in the video and in the pictures from a few days ago - still soft and gorgeous but less ridiculously big. In the pictures and videos with the kids, she's back to the high volume blow dry which just annoys me every time. It's so unnatural.

LGW second dress was better than first I think. The fourth dress was for the next day celebrations - does that count as an actual wedding dress or is it just a fab outfit for the day after the wedding? We met up with friends who had travelled for our wedding the day after and it was all pretty casual, but I did put some thought into my outfit and didn't stagger out the door in a pair of jeans and ratty old t-shirt.

Housewife2010 · 20/05/2019 09:37

I'm not too keen on today's trousers of Kate's.

QueenOfTheAndals · 20/05/2019 09:49

I don't know, I'm not a fan of the style of colour but it's a different look for her rather than endless variations of coat dresses!

Kate looks incredible today, that blouse is so pretty, it really suits her skin tone. Her waist is ridiculously thin though. I’m in awe of how well put together she is.

So she didn’t wear a floral dress to Chelsea! I’m discounting the dress in the family photos as that’s just a photo shoot, but an official engagements.

Let’s see what she wears when she arrives with the Queen today. But anyway, what’s wrong with flowers? I wore a floral dress when I last went to Chelsea.

queenofarles · 20/05/2019 10:08

I think she looks great,

It would be near impossible not to wear a floral dress. All the shops, high street and high end are full of chintzy floral dresses, it’s a big trend.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 20/05/2019 10:23

I love her blouse. Broderie Anglaise really suits her. I can see why she wore the culottes. I think the Cambridge pr team has excelled itself over promoting her Garden and underlining their family life. (As pp said I'd like to see a few more pics of William and Kate together as a couple;joint engagement or off duty....)

I have been eyeing broderie anglaise blouses myself recently. Love a bit of broderie anglaise and have been sad it hasn't really been fashionable recently. Had an absolutely gorgeous stretchy t-shirt in it around about the time I met DH - let's just say it was a very flattering top... Wink

SlipperOrchid · 20/05/2019 10:39

I think I have those culottes or a pair very similar anyway!

Ninkaninus · 20/05/2019 10:43

I like them! Where are yours from Orchid?

SirSidneyRuffDiamond · 20/05/2019 10:51

Looks like the culottes are from Massimo Dutti.

SirSidneyRuffDiamond · 20/05/2019 10:51

Smile whoops crossed post!

Ninkaninus · 20/05/2019 10:52

Thanks! What’s the sizing like?

SlipperOrchid · 20/05/2019 10:57

I wear a size 10 and bought them in a size 10. But there isn’t much material over the stomach area ie they are t gatheted/don’t have pleats so if I am bloated at all (eg my stomach gets bigger when I eat pasta/time of month) they don’t look flattering. A bigger size would be too big and I doubt you’d get more material over the stomach anyway and the waist would be too big.

queenofarles · 20/05/2019 11:08

The Mih broderie anglaise shirt is soldout in my size . Sad I really like the scalloped details on the sleeves.

Ninkaninus · 20/05/2019 11:10

Thank you!

Horsemad · 20/05/2019 11:33

Lovely outfit on Kate, really looks good.

frugalkitty · 20/05/2019 11:38

I like Kate's outfit but I don't think the trousers are very flattering because (and I don't mean to sound mean) she's got no shape....seriously, she's got no hips/bum/curves so to me they look a bit odd. I think that's why she doesn't look as good in trousers as she could (again, just my opinion) although I love that she's in something other than a coat dress for a change.

Wetdogloveshubert · 20/05/2019 11:47

You couldn't wear a skirt or dress for that garden - just look at the tree house! Agree with you all really, DoC is very thin, but she looks content with it.
