Zara looks great in that photo. I think she's one of those people who looks far better in casual clothes than dressed up.

It's the Lindo that's in Paddington, so that would've been marginally closer. The Portland is more central, in Fitzrovia. I don't know how they weren't spotted!

Why have they written H&M’s names differently on Archie’s BC? Harry is HRH Henry ... DoS whereas Meghan is Rachel Meghan HRH The DoS. Very irritating to my eye.

Yes, the same style was used for Kate on George's birth certificate. Just as Princess Diana wasn't actually Princess Diana because she was a princess by marriage.

I know. It's sort of like the old convention of a married woman being known as Mrs John Smith, with her first name disappearing. Most of the continental European royal families don't follow this practice; for example, the women married to the Danish princes are Crown Princess Mary and Princess Marie.

In Sweden’s case; the women can pass on their titles to their family eg Princess Madeleine’s children are all Prince / Princess through her.

Yy or rather Nn to Kate’s floral Erdem abominations. She doesn’t really suit prints unless they are very small scale. Although she is tall; she is petite; so anything large scale overwhelms her.

CP Mary’s fashion awards dress was lovely
. But that’s the second look she’s ruined in a week with the wrong jacket. On both occasions; I’ve thought something unstructured like a little cashmere cardigan would have looked good with both.

I don’t know whether it’s been really discussed, but Doria’s outfit in the official photo withArchie and the Queen was gorgeous. Loved the dull gold colour and the shawl over her jacket and her specs!

Also Mike’s unicorn trousers were worn at a golfing tournament. But even by golf clothes ( hideous ) standards; I still think he wore them for a bet!

So today is Gabriella’s wedding. Should be some good frocks to look at.
It would also appear that her mother Princess Michael was also a fan of the coiffure / heels / newborn look.
