In answer to the question about the royals watching TV etc ... back in about 1997 we were invited by a sailor on the royal yacht for a nose around when it was docked in Singapore (the Queen wasn’t on it at the time). We got to peep into the royal tv room, which had a really old fashioned TV and sofas with those stretchy thin nylon covers you used to see advertised in the back of Sunday supplements. Apparently she had tapes of Eastenders and The Bill flown out to her.

That sounds like HM, especially if the rumours of her using Tupperware at Buckingham palace are true! Apparently some extremely aristocratic families consider the Windsors a bit middle class

I didn't know CK and KA were related. And in googling that I found out her grandfather was once married to Sam Cameron's grandmother!

My latest news on the wedding on Saturday. My parents got a four page briefing in response to their rsvp and this morning got a letter from the palace with an itinerary, parking permit and tickets to get into the church. My mum has not shared the briefing or the itinerary with me

Oh no!!! I want to see the long list of requirements. I bet "Do not approach Princess Michael or look her in the eye" is one of them!

I knew about the Packhams but not Kirsty and Cath.

Harry has won a case against a photo agency who took photos of his house, including directly into some of the rooms. I know the royals are public figures funded by public money etc but such invasive photos are out of order.
