Can you help me find a cool toned lipstick please? The search is driving me up the wall

I want a natural looking lip stick or a crayon or even a gloss but it must be a cool toned shade.

Mustn't be brown at all as that looks grim on me.

I keep finding ones that are just a bit too pink and I almost need a dirty lavender pink ,if that makes sense?

I think RIPENED in this link looks hopeful,haven't managed to get anywhere to test it test it though yet.

Mac Plumful, I'm cool toned, had my colours done by house of colour and am a winter. I find Mac plumful a really easy colour to wear.

Mac twig is good, a my lips but better cool toned pink

Burts bees sedona sands. I tried EVERYTHING. I've neutral toned skin but have the same issues with "nudes" by the sounds.

Have a look at the new locittaine fruity stick lip sticks, there is a purple ish one that might fit the bill.... or the lighter ones. I'll find a link

Mac Plumful is gorgeous but too dark for my thin lips sadly.

Twig is too brown I think from googling.

Burt's Bees is looking hopeful!!

Burt's Bees one arrived, it's so brown on my lips,I must have really odd lips 🙄

It's not the colour I'm after BUT it's the only 'nude' I've ever been able to wear so it makes a change.

I've ordered Elf Tea Rose so fingers crossed for that on.

Oh no! I'm sorry to gear about the Burts Bees. I apparently have quite pigmented lips so maybe looks less brown on me but i was sure it would suit. The Elf one looks really promising though - would be far too mauve on me so might be perfect on you. I'm trying to think of the other mauve ones Ive tried. Im sure one was a Clinique Pop nude

I like the BB one,it's not what I was looking for but it does suit me and makes a nice change.

Does the Lipstick Queen one look like this in the flesh? That's nearly perfect of so!

Clinique Chubby Stick in Voluptuous Violet looks intensely purple in the tube but when I put it on is sheer and looks natural. I have to wear very cool toned lipsticks as anything else just looks brown or orange on me.

I don't think that lipstick queen image is right - The Whole Truth is a peachy nude according to their site. That looks more like Tempting Taupe.

L'Oréal used to do nudes that I can't find anywhere now and Essence used to do THE most perfect shade which is now discontinued
