Least painful type of high heels?

Argh help me. I have to wear high heels for the first time in nearly three years (okay, fine, I probably haven’t worn heel reguarly for a decade).

What style is least painful? Going out in London so there will be walking and tubing involvement, if I could just get in a cab it would be fine.

I’ll check out what size samples I have in stock tomorrow. In the meantime, please can you send me your email and a little bit about yourself / your twitter profile. Thanks, Shaz Cake

Those shoes are really nice - I’m not loving the heels but the buckle is fantastic and a brilliant idea. I had a pair that had buckles like that years ago and sadly they are long gone. They had heels that were ‘flared’ if that makes sense and I called them my ‘witchy poo’ shoes.

I wonder if you can dance in these - my sister spends eye watering amounts on high heeled dancing shoes (and she has tiny feet).

Lord which ones do you like? I’m losing track!

Just looking through Clarks now, had a look at M&S - these have a good comfort rating despite height, I guess because of the platform?

The shaherazad ones - they are court shoe style but have detachable buckles with have some fancy designs. They website says they are super comfy.

I have found m&s ones not very comfortable. I used to prance around in heels but now I get scared that I will fall on my arse!

Well the dress arrived and it fits - I bought some ankle boots at the same time, not intending to wear them together but they actually look quite cool with it, so I’m going with those. Looks deliberately quirky rather than “I’m wearing old lady shoes because my feet are shit” 😂
