Any guesses on what Meghan will wear to introduce baby Sussex? I'm guessing Givenchy as it's her go-to designer for big events.

Then again she could surprise us all and come out in a JoJo Maman Bébé breastfeeding tunic!

They never said about"doing things differently" did they? People just speculated, filling in the gaps around any official released detail, which was scant.

motheroftinydragons · 08/05/2019 13:44

@Spudlet My babies were calm for the first two days too. They were sleepy from the painkillers I was given and the anaesthesia I'd had during birth!

I thought I'd got parenting cracked after two days. Ha!

Ah yes, the milk arriving horror days. Yuck. So glad the days of boulders for boobs are behind me.Good luck Meghan!

floraloctopus · 08/05/2019 13:45

She's done well to get up and dressed at all, I'd have been in jeans and a t-shirt if not pyjamas

Her hair is lovely, it's good to see a more relaxed look.

OutwiththeOutCrowd · 08/05/2019 13:47

When Harry mentioned facial hair, I wasn't sure whether he was joking about the baby being a chip off the old block or if he was describing lanugo hair.

Either way, I think Meghan will be a bit Confused that the comment flipped out!

escapade1234 · 08/05/2019 13:48

I knew she’d wear white. It was an odd choice for both the weather and the occasion. Her choice though, presumably she felt good in it.

samsamsamsamsamsam · 08/05/2019 13:56

So when do you think we will find out his name?

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 08/05/2019 14:00

Just posted on Twitter the journey from 2017 to 2019.
They’ve done so much in 18months!

Beautiful baby!
Meghan looked a little vulnerable; understandably.
So used to seeing her in the leading, confident role.
Harry looked delighted and rock solid as Husband and Father.

I guess it depends if he has one yet? If does I can't see why they wouldn't release it so maybe they are still deciding.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 08/05/2019 14:01

I was right about the baby’s outfit. Grin
I wonder if he’s got any hair? Blond, ginger, dark?!

QueenOfTheAndals · 08/05/2019 14:05

Dark usually wins out over light when it comes to hair so I'm guessing that's what it is if he's got any!

I'm just waiting for the first papped photos of Harry wearing the little one in a Baby Bjorn or Ergobaby...

“Now she's got to meet a 93 year old woman and a 97 year old man, what she is wearing is the most important thing”
You mean the baby’s great grandparents? Or is she meeting some random people.....?

QueenOfTheAndals · 08/05/2019 14:05

I don't think they'd reveal the name before telling HM and they said they were on their way to her just after the interview.

That black and white photo of them shot from behind always makes me laugh. Harry looks like a giant with massive feet and shoulders. Like she’s hugging The Hound from Game of Thrones.

BlingLoving · 08/05/2019 14:53

“Dark usually wins out over light when it comes to hair so I’m guessing that’s what it is if he’s got any”.

This reminded me of DS. Born with full head of fairly dark hair. Which did not do the standard fall out thing. Instead, his more natural dark blonde started coming in so for a while he looked like he had forgotten to touch up his roots. Was endlessly entertaining.

VanillaSugarr · 08/05/2019 14:55

I’m a brunette but both my children are blond/e so there’s no guarantee.

UrsulaPandress · 08/05/2019 15:00

My dd was born with black hair and gold highlights. It was truly a thing of beauty. Nuses would shriek when they saw it and call others to come and look. It grew increasingly mousy but she never lost any and had a huge Mohican at 5 months.

Sigh. Happy Days.

Haggismcbaggis · 08/05/2019 15:05

I did laugh at the facial hair comment too. On day 3 post partum it might well have been something that made me sob mind you.

Lovely to see them & the baby. Megan looked slightly dazed as we all do. Fair play for the heels. I couldn't wear them at any stage let alone a couple of days after giving birth.

I'm very surprised there hasn't been a leak from whichever hospital she attended if it wasn't a home birth. Sky were banging on about how it's important women know. Which is rubbish. I'd like to know just due to nosiness but they are under no obligation to reveal it imho.

Yubaba · 08/05/2019 15:13

I’m ginger and I have 2 blonds and a brunette. Ginger is recessive and both parents need the gene. I would imagine he had dark hair like is mum.

frugalkitty · 08/05/2019 15:16

My DD was born with a head of dark brown curls, she looked like my mum complete with perm. I got comments every time when I took her out with people asking me if it was natural no, I tong it Anyway, she's now blonde (still curly). DS1 was born white blonde and is now dark, DS2 had auburn brown hair at birth, was a white blonde toddler and is now sandy blond. DH and I are both brunette although I was born with auburn hair and his was blonde, so I guess you can never tell quite how they'll end up!

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 08/05/2019 15:20

The baby looked a very good colour, not blotchy and pink the way newborns can be. I wonder if he will inherit his mother's skin tone? It was very hard to see from the glimpse we had.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 08/05/2019 15:31

Interesting photos ^^ She is on the same side of him each time.

It’s very sweet.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/05/2019 15:38

Meghan's outfit was a weird choice but Harry looked like he'd stolen a suit from a 1983 estate agent.

Laughing at the person posting that H&M share a shape of nose and so does the baby - Meghan bought hers!

queenofarles · 08/05/2019 15:41

From the profile picture I can see the baby looks more like his maternal grandad?

BertrandRussell · 08/05/2019 15:41

I’ve thought before that Harry should have a word with his tailor. His suits never seem to fit him quite right

OutwiththeOutCrowd · 08/05/2019 15:41

Thomas Markle Jr, seen here with Meghan as a baby, looks like he could have reddish hair, if the colours are not too distorted. So perhaps some ginger on both sides of the family?

(I'm a 'surprise' redhead myself, with two non-redheaded parents!)
