Any guesses on what Meghan will wear to introduce baby Sussex? I'm guessing Givenchy as it's her go-to designer for big events.

I'm not keen on the multi-coloured dress CPV has on there - the fabric is too stiff and structured. Much prefer the yellow dress from the Vietnam visit. The less said about those flower trousers the better.

Princess Caroline in a spring floral dress. Not a good look for her I don't think - a bit frumpy and not her usual chic style. And the pink shoes are an abomination imo.

And the American pool photographer/camera person seems perfectly reasonable to me in light of the fact that she's american and the american public is very interested.

The Americans would have got the footage from the British PA pool though, just like every other international broadcaster. It's a nonsensical reason.

i think they got backed into a corner by all the speculation that the baby was here and they were keeping everyone in the dark so they had to promise more than they wanted to/thought through to shut it all down. Hence the slightly odd labour announcement but I really can't get why people are so cross about it. It wasn't misleading it was factual and yes the release time was a bit off. But shock horror maybe Meghan has people she wanted to talk to before they read about it online!

The steps vs photoshoot is personal preference. We are more likely to see more of the baby today than the quick steps shots so I'm not sure why people are upset over that either.

And as for meeting the baby queen is at Windsor so I'm sure she will today but no one meet any of the Cambridge kids before the were presented.

They are absolutely dammed if the do dammed if they don't it's all a bit ridiculous now!

Neither can I. The only glitch in their plan seems to be caused by Meghan going into labor and then delivering fairly quickly after that. So they weren't able to follow the plan they had announced. So what?

And yes there is a lot of interest in American media. There has been huge coverage on US media, even to the point of serious news folk speculating about the name. This baby is an American citizen. As for Gayle King, she is a respected journalist of many years; she is also African American. CBS, founded in 1928, has been around nearly as long as the BBC and is one of the three main broadcast networks in the US. Also, the US coverage has been positive and respectful, none of the nasty Meghan-hate that has been generated by some of the British tabloids.

I just watched the live report, both parents looked very happy. Meghan was wearing a cream sleeveless trenchcoat style dress and a pair of her signature heels. They said they were about to take the baby to meet HM and the DoE but they'd bumped into the DoE on the way to the photo call. Couldn't see much of the baby other than what was in the photos already posted but I'm sure there'll be some official photos before long.

Ahh that was lovely. They looked so happy but tired and abit nervous. I like that they talked about him abit too, that was nice of them.
