Megan gave birth at the Portland in the end though she had opted for home birth at Frogmore House. Suggests it wasn't going fast enough or other risks. Maybe she had a Caesarian in the end.

I'm wondering why Sophie Ellis Bextor knows the baby's name but Kate and William don't? Also, would they not see the baby before the press photo is released? They live just down the road for God's sake!

I like Kate's outfit today I do think the red bag is a little odd though given there is zero red elsewhere in the the outfit!

Re the baby if William and Kate did know the name they are better trained than to give anything away ditto for when they will meet him. I don't think you can read much into that and in fairness we don't know how long after the birth Harry met any of their three children do we?

Angus Brochan is a SNP MP who seems to make a bit of a name for himself out of stupid comments- his Twitter bio says

She looked good today. I loved the top.

Lovely dress on Leti today, and her two tone earrings were nice with it too.

Kate looks fab. Trousers are a great change and the flash of red in the bag goes great with navy and white. I also like the block grasps and think they look better with those trousers than a stiletto would.

Those trouser buttons make Kate look vaguely like she's in a nappy. I don't mind the tucked in breton though, she looks good in stripes.

I had a pair of blue pedal pushers almost 40 years ago that had gold buttons down both sides like that. I loved them.

My on trend 19 year old dd wears tucked in jumpers. Something only the slim can get away with.

I think high waisted trousers are a good look on Kate in general as she has a long torso. The long flared plants she wore to cypress in December and toma school with the purple pussy cat bow blouse really balanced out her proportions.

Oh I'm not sure about Leti- it's a bit Per Una imo.
