Will Kate emerge from her Norfolk seclusion sporting a bigger than ever Alice band? Will the Mail and Express stories about Meghan get more ludicrous by the day? And will this thread see the arrival of Baby Sussex? All will be revealed in due course...

I think MM was probably completely truthful when she said end of April when asked when she was due. I think we'll have news soon. If she was 12/13 weeks at Eugenie's wedding then she'd be due around now.

Mummylovesbags · 19/04/2019 11:48

I’m putting my money on 25th April

Gooseysgirl · 19/04/2019 11:49

Interested to see the Louis birthday photo in the next few days... I've got a hunch it'll be a solo photo, given that the press printed all those photos of Charlotte and George last week...

brizzlemint · 19/04/2019 11:52

Gooseys yes, I expect so. He'll have changed so much. It'll be a lovely outdoor, informal photo I expect, maybe with him standing in the garden with their dog (I think they still have one?) or sitting on a garden seat.

Butterymuffin · 19/04/2019 11:57

I reckon any day now. I think general Royal principle seems to be to imply the due date is slightly later than it actually is to attempt to take the pressure off. So when they made the 'no hospital steps photo call' announcement that was because the birth could then be happening at any time.

Mummylovesbags · 19/04/2019 12:19

Interesting @Butterymuffins except that if she was due now/40 weeks today then she would have been 13.5 weeks at Eugenies wedding and almost 14 weeks when it was announced which I think 🤔 might be unlikely. Possibility though and I think your theory that they say the due date is later is true. Except they haven’t said the due date, they’ve just issued the announcement about birth which I imagine they would have done well ahead or in response to all the news stories and speculation.

Mummylovesbags · 19/04/2019 12:21

By the way this is sort of off topic but I am designing Italian leather bags. I was wondering would you wear a bag that had an accessory/ way of matching it to your Alice band or would that be too matchy matchy ? I thought it would be very Duchess of Cambridge but I could be wrong 🤷‍♀️

hippogriffwobble · 19/04/2019 13:00

Did Chris Jackson Getty leave a massive hint on his insta? Or am I reading too much into that? probably reading too much into that

SlipperOrchid · 19/04/2019 13:33

I don’t know about hints but in every photo I see of Meghan I am struck by how beautiful she is.

Mummylovesbags · 19/04/2019 14:00

Oh my goodness !!!! That photo is total proof and a hint she’s either in labour or that baby is out !!!! There is even a big ‘girl’ in background. Woo hoo how exciting. I’ll be checking DM for updates 💁

Mummylovesbags · 19/04/2019 14:00

@hippogriffwobble great find !!!

Mummylovesbags · 19/04/2019 14:04

Also they haven’t updated their Sussex Insta in four days and usually they post every 1-2 days. This tells me they are or have been very busy !!!

BertrandRussell · 19/04/2019 14:08

“This tells me they are or have been very busy !!!”

Please tell me you don’t think they update their insta themselves..

strangerthongs · 19/04/2019 14:21

Given that at eugenie's wedding she had her coat open, then she must have had a bit of a bump already so I'd estimate her due date to be around now or overdue.

Either that or she wanted us to know.

Mummylovesbags · 19/04/2019 14:34

@BertrandRussell hahaha I think I was so swept up in my online search that I didn’t really think about this. I don’t think they do their own social media but I think they would sign off on it and have input.

SlipperOrchid · 19/04/2019 14:49

I don’t think they do their own social media but I think they would sign off on it and have input.

I really doubt they look at every post published. They employ people to do this for them!

Mummylovesbags · 19/04/2019 15:01

@Slipperorchid MM clearly writes her own speeches and most probably Harry’s. She has has a degree from a prestigious US university that she’s proud of. Added to this, she’s clearly secure in her intelligence and speaking off the cuff at events. She also successfully ran and wrote well for The Tig and built her own social media brand. It was reported that she micro managed her staff and had enormous input into the runnings of her royal office. I really doubt that her PR has free reign over her social media that is so inextricably linked to her public image.

QueenOfTheAndals · 19/04/2019 15:06

would you wear a bag that had an accessory/ way of matching it to your Alice band or would that be too matchy matchy?

Afraid I'm in the camp of "wouldn't be seen dead in an Alice band"!! But yes, I find even matching shoes to bag a little matchy-matchy.

Thank you @QueenoftheAndals

Butterymuffin · 19/04/2019 16:17

For a second I thought that was announcing the new baby Sussex who was called Emma!

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 19/04/2019 16:18

Had a royal dream last night. HMQ had decided to let Fergie live at Windsor Castle as Fergie was going to be new Baby Sussexes nanny. HMQ hadn't told Philip about this as she was scared he'd go mad. HMQ was stood by a green 1930s type car worrying about all of this, especially as she'd just offered Fergie a lift to Balmoral with her & Philip. (Fergie remained hidden behind a laurel hedge) I was stood with them as myself & I said "Don't worry I'll sort it as this feud has to end! Philip loves babies."
I think like most of us I'm a bit over invested in our Royal threads Grin

QueenOfTheAndals · 19/04/2019 16:37

Hahaha, imagine the kerfuffle if they DID hire Fergie as a nanny Grin

Sorry . I was trying to solve the social media thing.
