Will Kate emerge from her Norfolk seclusion sporting a bigger than ever Alice band? Will the Mail and Express stories about Meghan get more ludicrous by the day? And will this thread see the arrival of Baby Sussex? All will be revealed in due course...

She will have such careful monitoring that she’ll presumably be “allowed” to go as over as she wants, so long as the baby is fine...

BertrandRussell · 19/04/2019 10:02

“I’m local and haven’t seen anything that would imply the baby is here“

Harry not handing out cigars in the pub? No bin full of nappies at the gate?

megletthesecond · 19/04/2019 10:04

It does seem like an awfully long pregnancy.

curly that's a fascinating piece on Prince Harry in Afghanistan 👍.

BertrandRussell · 19/04/2019 10:07

So assuming she was 12 weeks when she announced it, how pregnant is she now?

QueenOfTheAndals · 19/04/2019 10:09

Well they generally don't tie women down and forcibly induce them so it isn't a matter of "letting"! But she will have the best medical care and advice so I'm sure everything will be fine. The baby will take its time getting here and we'll just have to be patient!!

I do hope the DoS and the baby are ok tbh.

brizzlemint · 19/04/2019 10:13

You can tell I had my children longer ago when midwives etc still referred to letting and allowing Shock
I meant recommend, advise etc but used different terminology. I hope they are OK too.

SlipperOrchid · 19/04/2019 10:17

Oops ‘letting’ and ‘allowing’ are the phrases used here. I didn’t mean that they would physically force an induction. Apologies.

I really don’t think the medical team/doula etc will ‘encourage’ a first time mother to go over by more than two weeks. It increases complications and I don’t think anybody would lightly make a decision to ‘wait and see what happens’. I wouldn’t.

It is exciting.

Paradyning · 19/04/2019 10:25

Yes Curly. Thanks for sharing the Miguel interview. So interesting. There's a link in the piece to a Getty video of Harry in the interview. He is sooo young looking. Shocking really when you think of the job he has just been carrying out.

BlingLoving · 19/04/2019 10:35

If she's only 35.5 weeks, could be weeks still. First babies are notoriously late. Takes forever. She did say end April on that walkabout once.

Mummylovesbags · 19/04/2019 10:35

I think Meghan is due around the 20 something as she last had public appearance around 20 something of March. Going by DOCambridge, maternity leave is usually taken for month before her due date. Private obgyns especially with older mums wouldn’t let go past due date by than more than 5 days I would estimate. Also going by her Australia photos on a October 15, shortly after announcement, her bump is visible. She is quite thin so would show early but can’t be less than 12 weeks. That was 26 weeks and 2 ago so would make her 38 and 2 days now. If she put off telling for Eugenie then she might be 39 weeks now so if baby due 25th April then that’s about right and fits in with the one month maternity leave theory like Kate. Feels like never ending story and I can’t wait. I wonder if baby will have her style hair texture but ginger - he or she will be adorable !!!!!

Mummylovesbags · 19/04/2019 10:38

What do you think the royal princes are like in bed ?

brizzlemint · 19/04/2019 10:40

I don't even want to think about that - ewww! Grin

Mummylovesbags · 19/04/2019 10:42

I think harry would be amazing and be all into pleasing his partner and experimenting with different positions but I feel like William would take the lead and be more like a royal from one of those Tudor tv series shows.

SlipperOrchid · 19/04/2019 10:44

Private consultants ‘allow’ you to go over by up to two weeks. Both my children were 40+ weeks.

SouthWestmom · 19/04/2019 10:46

According to a poster 'in the know' baby was born by c section last Saturday. 😂😂😂 lesson in treating all posters with a pinch of salt.

Am not entering discussion on sex habits of royalty 🤢

brizzlemint · 19/04/2019 10:49

Noeuf and it was triplets.

Paradyning · 19/04/2019 10:50

Shockbarf!

SouthWestmom · 19/04/2019 10:56

Oh probably! I don't know why people make stuff up, it's weird

brizzlemint · 19/04/2019 10:58

They think it gives them some kind of kudos I suppose.

QueenOfTheAndals · 19/04/2019 11:03

I'm still watching Royal House of Windsor and it seems almost hilarious now to see that the press tried to make Charles into some sort of dashing playboy prince when he really wasn't that way inclined. It sounds like there was a lot of pressure on him to find a wife so it's no surprise things ended up the way they did.

There's also a bit on Princess Margaret's romance with Roddy Llewelyn. I always thought he was an ordinary welsh chap but he sounded just as posh as the Windsors!

I grew up listing after Wills and Harry and they were my teenage crushes. I would absolutely love to know what they would be like in bed. 🤷‍♀️ I’m not ashamed of this, ok maybe I am a little bit but I’m still curious.

Charles would definitely be missionary and mumble.

No there’s no way that the baby would have been born 2 weeks ago and they would keep a secret for that long and the media wouldn’t get wind. They wouldn’t risk a leak to media - so many staff and nurses involved.

I think one way or another MM would have obgyn involved and I’ve never known a private specialist to let me or any of my friends go more than a week over. The especially don’t like doing this if your baby is on the bigger side or your blood pressure is high. Meghan would be healthy but she’s on the older side so I think there would be a degree of caution.

SouthWestmom · 19/04/2019 11:26

Ok. I'm
Not thinking Harry would be much fun. That's as far as I'm going. Grin

Mummylovesbags · 19/04/2019 11:33

@noeuf I’m imagining you readjusting your pearls and cringing after typing that.

SouthWestmom · 19/04/2019 11:35

😂 yes I can't look at myself in the mirror. I feel dirty.
