I really detest this shade of pink, specially in silk. Rania used dress beautifully,but for the last year or so, she lost her fashion mojo. The bag looks perfect for egg hunt.

I agree - on one hand it's lovely to see a casual family shot but on the other it's really not right for children to be photographed and published without their parents consent. I'd be absolutely livid if someone photographed and published my DC, without my consent.

Because of that I'll never click on a link to see said photos but liked that someone put the pics on the thread so I could see them without supporting the paps who took the photos. It's all very conflicting.

Anyone looking for something to watch this a bbc documentary on the coronation with interviews/commentary from the Queen. It's not new but I hadn't scene in before and it's interesting to hear some of her thoughts on the day.

I hypocritically like seeing natural pics of the royals inc kids, but also feel it's a bit wrong given consent issues.

It must make it so hard for them going anywhere. My dc are toddlers/ pre schoolers, and if any paps/ public were remotely interested they would have got shots today of wild wees, meltdowns and tantrums, siblings hitting each other, falling down and tears, and probably me looking impatient, on a relatively good day out at a local park! I hate to think of the pressure on w&k for them to 'behave' at things like royal events, which in a toddlers eyes are no different or precious than any other. Having to deal with a meltdown in front of world media would be awful. No wonder they try and stay private!!

I think it’s the machines of the bag which makes the Rania’s outfit so twee.
The shirt / pants combo is ok albeit a bit saccharine. But following on from from her mutant raincoats and the good witch Halloween outfit in Paris, she really needs to look a bit sharper.
I genuinely wonder if she’s going through some sort of midlife crisis. I’m so sad about what she is injecting in her face. I really hope it’s reversible.
Charlene also seems to be going down that route, although she has much less in her face.

Have just caught up with the thread and have really enjoyed reading about Tessy and Mabel - incredible women. I loved Mabel's dress!

I hope Meghan is able to have a safe and comfortable labour and that everything's ok with the baby. It does now seem like she's been pregnant forever.

I think Kate and William are doing an excellent job at managing their dcs Exposure to the media. I can see that sometimes at public outings they don’t make a fuss if a photographer is caught taking pics of the children and just act normally,so the children don’t get alarmed.
I think it’s nice to see them at public places like this one, and the spring fair last year?

But more private occasions, like Kate taking her Charlotte to the ballet,yes it’s really horrible, to be taking pictures and they were right asking for the pictures to be deleted.

It was an event? In any case, the children are public figures and if they want the public to accept George as king someday, they have to put him out there. If they don’t like it, they can always pull themselves out of succession.

We actually see a lot of photos of Princess Estelle of Sweden in the media as well as the Spanish princesses. They seem very comfortable in front of the media

There's a thread running at the moment about Diana's funeral - it's brought back memories for me of W and H walking behind the coffin and being generally pushed out there for all to see. I don't think you could go through such a thing and not end up feeling massively protective of your children's privacy, to be honest.

True spudlet , Diana craved a lot of the attention she received but at times she seemed really fed up. I think if you hint where you are going to one day and choose not to the next, but somehow words gets out and next thing you know media is camped out side waiting. You must take some of the blame.

I think We see the impact more on William, it must bring back horrible flashbacks.

It must also make it had that she passed away young - because although I've no doubt she loved her children and they loved her, there seems no doubt that she also made some awful parenting calls (blaming William for the crank calls springs to mind!). If she had lived they could have worked through that, perhaps with her, but trying to deal with it as adults and parents (parent to be for Harry at the moment), without ever being able to resolve it with your mother in person, must be very hard. And dealing with all that in the public eye makes it even worse, I'm sure.

So I can't blame William for giving the paps stinkeye when they photo his children, or Harry for being protective of Meghan. Not in the least.

I love her suit and shoes and beautiful charismatic personality shining through I am not really in love with her honest but her hair and make up is a little dishevelled. But that's what makes her Max I guess.
