cherries I have a pale taupe biker which I dithered over but find I wear it more than my favourite black one. Bikers are so useful in Spring and Autumn and the pale leather looks much better with Spring/Summer clothing.
I have had a spendy time. I bought the black dress with the contrast stitching, ditto the white top with black stitching and both will be great for work. I also bought the white broderie anglaise top, the denim pleated skirt, the love scarf, the panama and the black slip dress and am keeping all

Ellapaella · 13/04/2019 08:18

@grannycake sounds like an impressive haul!

granny, sounds fab, I do like a haul where everything is a success.

Laska2Meryls · 13/04/2019 09:28

That last post looks like i was really merry, I wasnt!! just posting in high spiits.. i am going out on bike later !! (trepidation....there will be lot of 'lycra cyclists' out - there always are- and I may have to walk it home and def up any hill. Blush..

Ellapaella · 13/04/2019 09:50

Sounds fun laska - I love a bike ride (on the flat).
I'm going into work today to finish off some paperwork and do some rosters 😢 but going to choose new tiles for my kitchen afterwards which I'm excited about

I'm taking my GS and GD out in the camper to a local country/beach park. They're taking their bikes so I'll be running to catch up or nore likely carrying my GD bike while she walks

dontcallmelen · 13/04/2019 12:08

granny sounds like a brilliant haul, how is the contrast top think it could be handy under jackets, enjoy your day sounds fun.
Laska making me tired, just thinking about hills n bikes.
Ella ooh exciting I love doing housey stuff, decisions decisions enjoy.
Hello everyone else, enjoy the weekend we have dgd later so early to bed for me, as will be up at silly o’clock tomorrow morning.

Laska2Meryls · 13/04/2019 12:10

When I say going out on my bike I am aiming for 10 mins max, if i can do that it will be something (pretty pathetic I know but.. I am so unfit ..) Sad

ilovecherries · 13/04/2019 12:18

Borrowed DD’s faux leather biker to see how I get on. It’s a 10, so too big for her, but a bit too neat on me. Feeling a bit more human today though.

Wow Cherries you look amazing! Super hot!
In both pictures but I love that biker jacket on you with that scarf - absolutely gorgeous

dontcallmelen the contrast top is fine. I also bought it to wear under a jacket for work and that works brilliantly. I can also tuck it in to wide legged trousers. Without a jacket I would need either a strapless bra or a halter as the top is slightly cut away to reveal shoulders

neveradullmoment99 · 13/04/2019 12:40

Jackets lovely but too big u think esp o shoulders.

Let me know what you think

neveradullmoment99 · 13/04/2019 12:46

Its not ridiculous and i can fasten it. Doubt i would be able to with a 12 without it doing a major squash.

neveradullmoment99 · 13/04/2019 12:46

Its my tummy

neveradullmoment99 · 13/04/2019 12:48

A better close up

Ellapaella · 13/04/2019 13:23

I like it Never but agree a bit big over shoulder area. You could probably size down.

OP posts:
Laska2Meryls · 13/04/2019 13:32

I like it never Great colour and actually I dont think it looks too big on the shoulder.. you may need a jumper under it !

well first proper time on my bike for about 12 years and I just did 9 miles!! Only a couple of very tiny little slopettes , but I went up them! (Legs ar in shock, I'll be dead later).

Looks like the other Moritz are here! (they had better fit!!)

Laska2Meryls · 13/04/2019 14:01

What do you think? (I'm feeling fat and depressed today, So not a good judge of how I really look.. Too Bay City rollers? Better with trainers or sandals?

Those are the Hush Chester trainers from A/W sale and the current jersey shirt ...(which I love..)

neveradullmoment99 · 13/04/2019 14:43

They look great on you. Love the shirt with it. I prefer the sandals but the trainers are fine.

neveradullmoment99 · 13/04/2019 14:53

Im not sure a about the biker. Apart from it being big in places, its extremely fine suede and can see it being ruined quickly!

justilou1 · 13/04/2019 15:05

Hi Ladies of Hushness, I’m back! I survived my first prac! (Loved it, even!!!) You are all looking fabulously stylish in your leather jackets!!! I wish I lived in a climate more conducive to justifying one. I looooove them!!! (Leather has a tendency to attract mould here if not very meticulously stored - even then there’s no guarantees!) I wore jeans today and didn’t die. It has cooled down a wee bit, FINALLY!!! This means a happier me!!!

ilovecherries · 13/04/2019 15:28

The jacket is beautiful, never. I don’t think it looks massive on you, just a slightly slouchy fit. I’m never sure about the durability of suede as I don’t think it ages as well as leather. But it is very much athing of fabulousness. laska, I love both the Moritz and the shirt, but I’m not sure how well they go together - maybe something shorter or more fitted on top?

ilovecherries · 13/04/2019 15:30

Well, I wore the biker (DD’s one) outside in town, and then walking the dog, and three people spontaneously said I looked great (one being DD’s friend who texted her to say she’d met me and I was looking hot :D)
