Thank You for the feedback. Yes it’s super annoying the pocket bit. I think I’ll reorder the navy in a 10 (12 is too big bunches at the waist) and return the cream pair.
I’m such a top heavy shape that it’s nice to find a pair of trousers that shows off my slimmer bottom but doesn’t make me look completely unbalanced...
The culottes are a 12 could size down to a 10 tbh as they are half elasticated waist (I think if it wasn’t for my post menopause porky middle I am a 10 bottom) but they’re comfy and don’t look too massive so I’ll keep

@never love the idea of a “commiseration jacket”!
I’m thinking I can keep the 12, wait and see if 10 come back in stock and maybe even the cream which is the right 10 size and have pockets removed at the same time as shortened?
This is me in the 12 navy the longer top covers the “bunching” effect under the elastic. They are very comfy!

I don’t know if they had the starry leather ever in a 12 in this sale...it’s old stock I think so maybe only smaller sizes left.
I got my annual work bonus this month so I can afford to go a little mad just to see but I know I’m not a 10 up top...not even in Hush crazy vanity sizing!

I’ll do that and keep an eye on navy 10 returns before I get them altered, super bargain at £18!

As for the starry commiseration jacket that I know will be too small in a 10 but still refuse logic thinking I’ll sleep on it, maybe I lose 3 cup sizes magically overnight!

Not had a chance to catch up properly yet but just popping in to say that I've just Next are now doing IN BETWEEN SIZE JEANS! This is fantastic new for me as I am somewhere between a 10 and a 12.
Now I'm going to catch up with all your lovely pics

I’m still dithering about the jacket. I mean, a blush coloured leather jacket is NEVER going to be something I can claim I need, is it? Am also exhausted as have been mithered all day by clients and hysterical students. Clients have thankfully now all cleared off for the weekend and DD has just in the last 15 mins uploaded her dissertation and is crying her eyes out in the shower. Argh. Anyway, I don’t really go anywhere to wear such a jacket. Although I could probably just stroke and sniff it all day.

Ah Thank you Ella I’m returning the silk shirt it’s overpriced even at £80 in the sale, would have considered keeping at £60 and sew a tiny clip thingy as I have a small boob gap and it’s just not worth the money. I have a few Boden silk shirts that will look fab with the Kiera (green) culottes including a fab pink one...as I’ve said before I highly recommend Boden silk shirts in the sale.

@cherries really? Why wouldn’t you just wear it to pop out in the spring, with jeans/skirts even joggers, is it a case like the leather leggings that because it’s out of your comfort zone you wouldn’t think of wearing it casually? Honestly it’s fab and looked beautiful on you but of course unless you feel comfortable wearing a total waste of £
Sorry to hear about the stress today...it’s been a bit like that this week here too...my back is still sore btw so soldiering on when you’re feeling a bit crap is pants. I’ve had a good laugh with you lot and this thread this afternoon though

I’ve had a highly strung boss too this week, poor guy he’s usually great to work with but the exec top dogs are piling on such pressure on everyone even my usually even tempered German boss has become a bit of a drama queen this week...WhatsApping me @8am earlier in the week, asking me to attend calls even when he knew I was really struggling with my back pain. Not like him at all.
But hysteria can be contagious...

soy, I think possibly I still struggle with the whole concept of ‘deserving’ nice clothes - and am still always shocked when they actually fit me! I look at the jacket and think that no one like me could ever wear anything like that. Maybe I need some sort of desensitisation technique and should buy the suede as well

Ive ordered the suede jacket @ella and it arrives tomorrow but the only size they had left was a 14 so not sure if it will be too big. I can weirdly take it up around the bust and back. Its a bit ££ so maybe if it doesn't fit that's a good thing!
