Oh heck Soy ! I hope he gets one, but yes he needs to do it himself!

neveradullmoment99 · 11/04/2019 13:29

I think I might actually send them back really because of the price.
Keeping the shirt and the sandals. I think all else will be returned and we will see what happens with the red jumper tomorrow.

neveradullmoment99 · 11/04/2019 13:29

@laska, I have been tempted to buy a bike! You might just enjoy it :)

neveradullmoment99 · 11/04/2019 13:32

@soyo and fingers crossed for your ds passport!

neveradullmoment99 · 11/04/2019 13:33

Was also tempted by the many jumpsuits on the Toast website. What do you think of them? Anyone contemplating or have bought any?

Laska2Meryls · 11/04/2019 13:44

I used to love cycling , just so out of practice now.. When we lived just outside Brighton we didnt have a car and I cycled 14miles a day into work and back ( flat/seafriont) and at weekends with hills!. but since we've been here -13yrs now - I've hardly used it .. (rural roads, hilly, 12mile drive to work each way and I have a car and other excuses .) .

So its just languished....its a good bike too! , bike shop man says its actually in good nick apart from the broken gear change bit.. I know I will enjoy it once I'm out and back into my 'legs' & id like to get fitter again..

neveradullmoment99 · 11/04/2019 13:54

Well I have my exercise bike and have been doing daily but I do think riding a bike exercises more bits.

Laska2Meryls · 11/04/2019 14:36

Hat and Midnight Janelle in S , .. I do need to lose more weight (once again ) around my tum Sad for the dress to look really good but, I am on the way again and the M is just far too big in the bust and top.

Here are the shorts ,(No, you cant see them on!!, my legs are so un-toned right now !!) The £45 Hush ones are a bit too big in the waist and also v stretchy,so wil get bigger I reckon, so they are going back (and there's a 10 week waitlist for smaller size ) . And although they are nicer (and a lighter green ) than the £16 Next ones, quite honestly I dont think they are worth the extra ..

The Star outline T is just 'meh', not worth the bother, thin fabric and weird baggy arms; the inner line of the star is just too dark, and the logo is like plastic..

I like the panama hat ! Keeping that and the dress, - Moritz have not turned up yet

Laska2Meryls · 11/04/2019 14:45

Dress also looks a bit better when I am standing up straight !!

Right! I'm after a Beatrice in the sale! Can anyone advise me on sizing? I'm usually a 14, and my Stella jumper is a Large. I want it to be fairly slouchy.

neveradullmoment99 · 11/04/2019 14:55

That's a lovely dress on you @Laska and I really like the hat!
@quantum, a few on here have that jumper cherries and I think soyo I think its quite generous but they will tell you better what size but if you are in hurry the small should be a fine fit for you?

neveradullmoment99 · 11/04/2019 14:56

You really suit the hat @laska. I am always a bit self conscious with hats and not sure I would wear one at home. Maybe on holiday.

Laska2Meryls · 11/04/2019 15:13

This is the T shirt ,I got L as I like a looser fit in a T but it's quite frankly weird

Right thanks all of you lovely people (who should receive Hush commission!) I've ordered a number of new season jumpers and will report back (with pics, if brave). If anyone has the chino skirt and would post a pic that would be very helpful (it looks lovely but I'm no sure if it's worth it!). Once again, lovely thread, thanks all!

neveradullmoment99 · 11/04/2019 15:22

I have the chino skirt but its the long one. I haven't got a picture of it atm. Its in the wash!

SoyYo · 11/04/2019 15:35

Quick note for @quantum I had to size down to XS in the Beatrice as I’m short, quite dumpy and 34FF bra. Most of my Hush tops are in M and a few in S. so do size down. ‘Tis lovely and soft.

@Laska the t dress suits you and love the Panama! My curly hair doesn’t like hats otherwise I’d be very tempted and you’re right on the shorts, I know the Hush cut is always that bit better but the price is ridiculous and not that different from the other £16 shorts to justify.

Welcome new posters! Do report back even if you don’t want to post a picture it’s always useful and fun to hear (and saves us from making mistakes with size/fabric, etc)

SoyYo · 11/04/2019 15:39

@Quantum if you want it slouchy go for S it’ll be big enough I reckon.

@Laska not sure about that T shirt at all...yes return!

ilovecherries · 11/04/2019 15:47

So still thinking about that blush jacket? How would you style it do you think?

ilovecherries · 11/04/2019 15:52

quantum, I bought the Beatrice when I had a 32k chest, and the S was fine. Have now lost 8lbs of boobage and I’m pretty much a standard 12 across the high street and it’s a loose, slouchy fit. The XS would actually fit on the body but I found the arms a bit tight in it - and I don’t have huge arms.

legoqueen · 11/04/2019 15:59

Hello, long time lurker jumping on board to ask about the sizing of the Carly cropped jumpsuit that's in the sale - is it generous or true to size?

neveradullmoment99 · 11/04/2019 15:59

Could you order it @cherries and try it with different things? I think its pretty neutral, so cant see why it wouldn't go with a variety of things - jeans etc.

neveradullmoment99 · 11/04/2019 16:03

No idea about the jumpsuit @lego but just remember that it says:

This garment is made from Viscose and may shrink up to 5% after washing. For further info, please see our Fabric & Care page.

So I wouldn't down size.

legoqueen · 11/04/2019 16:05

Good point, in my excitement about the sale I had overlooked that - thanks!

ilovecherries · 11/04/2019 16:11

(Still feels sad about my shrinking contrast trousers). I was tempted to rebuy them as they still have them in the sale, but the problem was the length, so sizing up wouldn’t help.

neveradullmoment99 · 11/04/2019 16:18

They were short on me @cherries and I am shorter than you! It is a shame. Some poor unsuspecting person will buy them too. Saying that if you are under 5ft3, you will be fine as if they shrink you wont have to have them taken up!!!
