Having said I don’t need any more jumpers this pink one is tempting me as I don’t own any happy bright summer jumpers...

SoyYo · 11/04/2019 12:30

Go @never! You did love it so you can always return.
I’m really liking the pink bubblegum one I posted above: anyone has it?
Can you recommend?

SoyYo · 11/04/2019 12:31

I mean if on receipt you don’t think it’s worth keeping...you know what I mean Wink

ilovecherries · 11/04/2019 12:31

I think all I’ve kept this year where a couple of squirrel jumpers - they were so comfy post op, and the Moritz jeans which have just found their way back to me.

ilovecherries · 11/04/2019 12:34

Oh - and the two hortensias!

SoyYo · 11/04/2019 12:36

Yes we’ve been quite “good” so far this season. My halo is truly thrashed now...I’ve also ordered the pink v neck summer jumper!
When I receive my haul you must tell me what to return! Blush

SoyYo · 11/04/2019 12:44

@never I predict you’ll end up keeping the pointelle jumper, I mean you live in Scotland! What summer?
Grin

twosoups1972 · 11/04/2019 12:44

soy thanks for the jeans link, will definitely take a look.

On the hair front, we're giving co-washing a try. Dd1 (who has wavy hair but more so than I remembered she straightens it so much!) is really getting into it. Watching loads of YouTube videos on gel casts and all sorts.

twosoups1972 · 11/04/2019 12:45

soy I really like the pink jumper.

Laska2Meryls · 11/04/2019 12:53

I'm not so good as you lot ,so far I have kept:

Green Lucky T,
Greenand Midnight Slub Ts,
Chaminox crops ,
Blue Helena shirt ,
Blue Jersey shirt ,
and Khaki Janelle

( but I have more coming - Midnight Janelle , Panama Hat, outline Star T , chino shorts, and Moritz. Of those possibly only the Chino shorts will go back , Blush

....no sale stuff though ..

So even if I could find it , that would be some rusty ,dented halo, I have Grin

Bicycle man says that my bike may be ready this pm,.. So I will have no further excuse .. (Oh heck)

GinandGingerBeer · 11/04/2019 12:53

So why aren't those boots I want reduced to a fiver in the sale??? Haha!
Good news that the maple dress is in the sale though, I posted yesterday that I wanted it so I'm glad I held off as I was waiting to see if it reduced Smile
I've also taken a punt on the basket stitch jacket in black. I think it's more like a fancy cardi than a jacket so might be good for work when they have the air con on in the summer and we all freeze our nose ends off!
I don't think I've ordered anything since the last sale actually when I bought the turn up jeans for £18 so I'm feeling quite please with my purchases Smile

Look forward to seeing pics of any sale hauls

Laska2Meryls · 11/04/2019 12:55

Hmm actually all blue and green things , I notice.. (apart from the grey star t that is on its way . Seems like a theme, happening here ..

SoyYo · 11/04/2019 13:00

Thank you @soups!
Yeay co washing is good, make sure you choose silicone/alcohol/wax free conditioners and once a week I also use low:no sulphate shampoos to remove build up (or every 10 days)
My favourite brand is boucleme you can order online but it’s quite expensive.
High street brands to try: Umberto Giannini Curl Jelly), Cantu is all CG friendly (but heavy so more suited to super curly:Afro hair), Kind and Natured range has good sulfate free shampoos (buy at Boots), Shea Butter range also at Boots is CG friendly but also quite heavy so I use their miracle mask occasionally.
Super Drug also do very cheap silicone free conditioners for co washing but personally I didn’t get on with them.
Garnier Ultimate Blends also do a good range of silicone free conditioners, I use the Argan oil and cranberry and also like the Almond Crush.
Body Shop rainforest moisture shampoo and hair butter are lovely and also low sulfate and silicone free.
Pantene mousse no 5 (defined curls) is also CG friendly if your DD doesn’t get on with gel.
Once you have the “right” no silicone/wax/alcohol/sulfate free products it’s more about technique and YouTube is great for that.
Also go to FB and join the UK curly girls group lots of tips and a lovely CG community to help here:

Never I really LOVE those sandals.. and the Camo shirt is great too

neveradullmoment99 · 11/04/2019 13:05

Thanks @laska, what do you think of the leggings? Still deliberating!

neveradullmoment99 · 11/04/2019 13:06

I guess they are just a pair of leggings with a gold stripe! The fabric of them is a sort of mat lycra.

neveradullmoment99 · 11/04/2019 13:07

They arent overly shiny.

neveradullmoment99 · 11/04/2019 13:09

The camo shirt looks great with the cargo pencil skirt.

SoyYo · 11/04/2019 13:09

@gin Yeay worth holding off till sale is on (shame about the boots but I predict you will get them in the sale eventually)
@laska such restraint!! Grin hope your bike is as good as new when you pick up

Right panic in my house...26 yr old DS is flying to Berlin tomorrow and has just realised his passport expired end of Feb Hmm. He’s like a blue arsed fly but I’m not interfering as at his age he needs to be more together and I’m no longer the overseer of their comings and goings though I do feel sorry for him he’s just left for Peterborough passport office to see if they’ll give him a fast track to get a new passport this afternoon.
What can I do? I’ll go light a candle for him and keep fingers crossed but honestly my DC will never grow up! 😩
I have tons of work this afternoon so chat laters 👋

Laska2Meryls · 11/04/2019 13:14

TBH never I think the leggings are ok but not £45 ok.( but them I dont wear side stripe trousers /leggings anyway )

Laska2Meryls · 11/04/2019 13:18

Do you mean the hush green Chino pencil skirt , never or have you bought a cargo skirt from somewhere else? (I do love a pocket!)

GinandGingerBeer · 11/04/2019 13:21

Love the camo shirt @never, I'm not sure the proportions are right with crop trousers though? I think if a top falls below your crotch and the trousers are above the ankle, it kinda shortens the leg. But hey, I'm no fashionista Blush
Sandals are gorgeous, are they Hush too?

Laska2Meryls · 11/04/2019 13:22

oh dear, Bike needs a 'part' the may not have in so I may be reprieved for this weekend GrinWink Grin DH wants me to go out with him, but I haven't been on my bike for some years, so would rather die/go purple/have to walk up tiny slopes with no one seeing Blush

GinandGingerBeer · 11/04/2019 13:23

Sorry @never have just read back properly and see it was worn together to show the sandals. So sorry!! Blush

neveradullmoment99 · 11/04/2019 13:28

No problem @ginger :)
Yes, I don't think they are worth that either @Laska. £45 is steep.
Yes, sorry I meant the hush pencil skirtm - the chino one!!
Yes @ginger, they are the hush sandals.
