Thank you SoYo. I'm just reeling. But have made veg and lentil soup this morning. When in doubt, cook something healthy....

Dear Sir Tim Berners-Lee,
Thank you for inventing the internet. There are some wonderful people on there and I have found them.
Love from Fuzzy.

ilovecherries · 10/04/2019 13:05

Oh fuzzy, what a horrible time you and DH are having. I’m so sorry. xx

twosoups1972 · 10/04/2019 13:17

fuzzy so sorry, sincere condolences to you. What a horrible time, life can be really rubbish sometimes. Look after yourself and your dh Flowers

justilou1 · 10/04/2019 13:36

Oh no @Fuzzy and Mr Fuzzy.... I’ve run out of words. You poor things! I’m watching Harry Potter and wishing I could nick a magic wand right now.

FuzzyPuffling · 10/04/2019 13:40

I'm beginning to think I am in a particularly poor episode of Eastenders. Nobody would watch this.

justilou1 · 10/04/2019 14:14

Oh @Fuzzy - it must just feel so awfully surreal (and surreally awful)... I’m so sorry you’re being hit with everything at once. Life just isn’t fair, unfortunately. I wish I could be more than a virtual leaning post, but please believe my sincerity when I say that I am awake when you are supposed to be asleep. If you have trouble sleeping, don’t hesitate to pm me. I’ll be a virtual listener! X

Laska2Meryls · 10/04/2019 14:51

Picked up the Next crops today and tried on on shop, nope not me at all , I looked just like an old biddy in them..so they went straight back, but while I was on there I saw that they had khaki Chino shorts for £16, nice shape and fabric too, bought a pair,so unless the Hush ones are super special compared, they will go back. Am pleased to say that Hush have honoured the discount on the Moritz jeans exchange and they are on their way , so it may be those after all ( I am sending the La Redoute ones back ,have decided )

Laska2Meryls · 10/04/2019 15:02

I think it was the elasticated back of the waist that didn't work on me , I sized down to the 10 also, but they were just 'baggy bum' on me

ilovecherries · 10/04/2019 15:16

I took mine back as well laska, after DD asked me (kindly without any sarcasm as she knows my mum has been having a clear out) ‘oh did Granny pass these onto you for the camper van?’ When interrogated about her thoughts on them, she came out with the tactful ‘I think you could do better’ 😂. I think it’s was the elasticated back that was accentuating my less than perky derrière.

ilovecherries · 10/04/2019 15:58

I’ve re-ordered the Moritz as well - they will think I’m bonkers, they were only refunded today and as they were oos earlier, I’ve probably just bought my original pair back. But I really only sent them back because of price, and I thought they were more a fashion item with a limited life, but since then have tried ones from oasis, next, warehouse, and none have been as nice. I never had jeans for such a long time, now I have two pairs of Hush boyfriend (frayed stars and a darker wash from BrandAlley), and two pairs of Jamies from TopShop, plus the Moritz. It’s such a novelty.

Laska2Meryls · 10/04/2019 16:11

Yes and me also cherriesno othersseem as nice, . I've gone for the 10, as 12 were really too big but some people seem to be sizing right down,do now I'm wondering? have you gone for the 8? (I'm never an 8!!)

ilovecherries · 10/04/2019 16:25

No, I had the 12s last week, and they fit perfectly. That’s pretty much the size I am across the high street, no sizing down required, sadly.

Laska2Meryls · 10/04/2019 16:35

I'm hoping that the 10s will fit but I am usually a solid 12 in Hush jeans so was a bit surprised esp as I have put on weight since last summer ( and my star ones are a bit a lot too snug now sadly ) , but I had to size down to 10 in the Chamonix also. The Moritz all seem to be in stock now again though except for the 6

dontcallmelen · 10/04/2019 17:02

@FuzzyPuffling I am so very sorry, another awful blow for you both.
Sincere condolences & am sending many many cuddles & big hugs to you both💐💐

dontcallmelen · 10/04/2019 17:03

Yy post if you feel able too fuzzy we are always here if you need a vent or chat.

neveradullmoment99 · 10/04/2019 17:04

Oh and dear me. The shirt dress from hush was AWFUL. so shapeless and absolutely huge everywhere in an xs!! The only place it was slightly restrictive was the edge of the sleeve. It drowned me.

neveradullmoment99 · 10/04/2019 17:06

OMG fuzzy. So sad to hear this and your poor dh Flowers

dontcallmelen · 10/04/2019 17:11

Trying to catch up, Laska love love the hat, M&S had some really nice chino shorts in they were £25.00 might be worth a punt.
cherries the dress is lovely.
Soy glad you are feeling a bit better, jacket came this morning but haven’t had a chance to open yet, if I feel the same as you it’s going straight back.
never that’s a disappointing about the dress, blooming sizing is getting on my nerves now, not just hush but practically everywhere is the same, ooh for the days when you knew what you were🙁
It’s been a long day, Sun was shining but crikey the wind was freezing dgd enjoyed Hever Castle but wouldn’t have it that it’s was King Henry’s castle she is convinced it belongs to King Arthur😂
Hello everyone I may have missed.

dontcallmelen · 10/04/2019 17:12

Size

neveradullmoment99 · 10/04/2019 17:18

Its been the most beautiful day here. Took the kids out for lunch locally, then a little play at the play area then back to my mums while the kids played amd played and ate ice lollies! Felt truly summery here!

twosoups1972 · 10/04/2019 17:22

Sounds lovely never It's been sunny but cold here and looking colder for the next few days. Still got my washing hanging outside though in the breeze Smile

If anyone is interested, I read an article about jeans in the free John Lewis magazine you can pick up. Apparently you can book a free style appointment to find your perfect jeans and no obligation to buy. I might try it. Have been wearing skinnies for so long which aren't a great shape for me being top heavy. Then someone on here (sorry can't remember who) recommended Gap straight leg jeans which are brilliant. It would be interesting to see what JL recommend for me.
