I thought they are probably are worth keeping , esp at the price!

SoyYo · 08/04/2019 15:25

Yes agree with @never laska I like them on you at the shorter length/2nd pic. The longer length is not quite cropped but too short to count as proper wide leg trousers.

justilou1 · 08/04/2019 15:44

I would wear the pants either way, @Laska, but you did buy them for Summer, didn’t you? Get them shortened and you will absorb some extra vitamin D. (There’s a health benefit in it for you! Wink)

Ellapaella · 08/04/2019 16:42

@Laska2Meryls I shortened mine! That's why mine have the raw hem. Have just remembered seeing yours with the hem and they are the same pair of jeans.
Anyway I prefer them on you cropped and think they look good! I like 'em.

@neveradullmoment99 love your trainer purchase!

FuzzyPuffling · 08/04/2019 16:54

laska definitely better at the shorter length. They look sort of "intended" whereas the longer length looks neither here nor there.

Laska2Meryls · 08/04/2019 16:59

Cool Thanks Ella and all, I am going to do it! Smile
So an utter bargain I think ...these are the ones if anyone else interested Mine are a 12, they fit true to size I'd say ,

dontcallmelen · 08/04/2019 17:55

Just catching up, took dgd too see peppa pig 😱 at our very plush new cinema, has leather reclining armchairs very comfy.
Soy oh noo poor you, definitely maximum pain killers & heat hope it’s eases very soon.
Laska yy slightly shorter length on the cropped jeans, look fab on you.
Love never & Fuzzy trainers.

dontcallmelen · 08/04/2019 17:56

I reckon the only way I would get cropped trousers to be the right length, would be to buy long shorts😂

dontcallmelen · 08/04/2019 18:02

I was browsing in M&S earlier, they had some really nice chino shorts & trousers in khaki ones were a really nice colour.

FuzzyPuffling · 08/04/2019 18:16

All trousers are cropped on me. Melen can you send me the bits you chop off your trousers, so I can add them to mine?

dontcallmelen · 08/04/2019 18:21

Fuzzy 😂 yes I usually have yards of excess fabric, even petite length are too long on me, a knee length dress is a midi on me & a midi is a maxi.

TSSDNCOP · 08/04/2019 18:29

Saw this and thought of you ladies: Nirvana at Bluewater!

FuzzyPuffling · 08/04/2019 18:33

Right Melen, we just need to agree to but the same trousers in future!

dontcallmelen · 08/04/2019 18:41

Yess Fuzzy that’s the way to go, save us shedloads of money as well.

Hi -

Hi all (waves). I love your thread and a big hush fan, and I post the odd question now and then! Rather than starting a thread, was wondering, does anyone have the v back ombre pink/Orange long sleeve tee? Im not sure about the back - it's very thin and I'd be keen to wear a vest top under it - as wondering if this would look odd? Any opinions?

I also get cold so would potentially want to wear a thin base layer under it, looks fine from the front bit do you reckon this would look silly from the back? Am tempted to return and get another raglan long sleeve tee in the bright pink instead...

neveradullmoment99 · 08/04/2019 20:44

HI @cake. Soyo has that top. She hopefully will be along in a while to help you :)
TSSDNCOP Don't think i have ever seen a hush pop up shop in RL!

neveradullmoment99 · 08/04/2019 20:45

Did you buy anything?

GinandGingerBeer · 08/04/2019 20:51

Evening all Smile
I have the same problem with a lot of cropped trousers being 5ft 4, I'm no good at altering things, can't even sew a button on Grin I wasn't permitted to progress to an electric sewing machine at school ha ha. You had to prove you could do a square,a triangle and a circle on one of the old singers with the hand operated wheel at the side before they'd let you loose on electric. My circle never joined up. Grin

I am lusting after the oxton boots. But they are so expensive. Has anyone seen anything similar in a blush/nude. I like how it's not a full on boot.

neveradullmoment99 · 08/04/2019 21:03

They are lovely Ginger I must say, I haven't seen anything like that colourwise.

SoyYo · 08/04/2019 22:00

Hi cake nice to see you back. On the ombré T back if I’m honest I think wearing a vest if it shows at the back kind of defeats the object of the back v shape which I think is a beautiful and unusual touch and makes the T different from others.
I agree it is rather thin cotton so to me it’s a late spring or cold summer day top.
It’s such a happy colour and so different I was happy to keep.
I hope this helps and just my opinion.

SoyYo · 08/04/2019 22:01

@gin I love the colour and shape of the boots and have a leather jacket in that exact shade.
If I spot anything I’ll let you know

GinandGingerBeer · 08/04/2019 22:18

Thanks, I know now I've my heart set on them, nothing else will be quite as nice but you never know!

Laska2Meryls · 09/04/2019 06:39

Never Have you seen these Taupe Nibble boots in the Daniel sale? (sorry for enabling, I was looking for pink boots for Gin ( but can't find any on Daniel)

CakeInMyFace · 09/04/2019 06:52

Hi @SoyYo so sorry I fell asleep so early last night! Thanks so much for your thoughts. You are totally right about the tee, I just so want to keep it but think it may not be so practical for me!

I'm going to take an old long sleeve tee and cut the back down to see if I can make that work so I can wear it a bit more. Otherwise I may just have to keep it and use it for those summer evenings out. I seem to have an odd habit of needing to wear a thin cami or vest under everything so need to crack that habit! Xx
