Ooh never go you! We have a ukulele & guitar which Dh plays.
His brothers play drums, saxophone, piano, & guitar, gets very noisy when they get together, my Dm played the piano & my DF had the most wonderful tenor voice, I unfortunately have absolutely zero musical talent.

twosoups1972 · 04/04/2019 13:05

It sits nicely on the shoulder and strap is adjustable so would work cross body too.

Like me @melen!!!
That is gorgeous that bag @soups. Keep!

dontcallmelen · 04/04/2019 13:20

Love it Soups & I’m not really into bags, shoes & jackets are my thing.

Laska2Meryls · 04/04/2019 13:38

Flowers for fuzzy what a rubbish time you are having ..

Well, I ordered the dark Next crops 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑 , they should be in my local shop next week .the La redoubte ones are on their way also an if Hush do an exchange on the10% off Moritz -as I hope they will- I will have a few to choose from!

Ukelele sounds fun ! we bought DH a pink one for Christmas a few years ago .. Hes a fine guitar player (and so not bad on it, but the novelty wore off quite quickly )

Two Soups bag is fab , Id keep it , I have a really, really old brown Mulberry Effie (about 15yrs old and my only ever posh bag!) , which I recently had a new longer strap made for and now use it as my every day bag .. it only gets better

FuzzyPuffling · 04/04/2019 17:41

Thank you so much for all the Hushistas love. My mum died this morning so it has been a very sad day. we went to the beach this afternoon - a lovely place to think about her. DH is neither better nor worse but has a lot of pills to take. He's being a real rock for me.

dontcallmelen · 04/04/2019 17:59

Oh Fuzzy I am so terribly sorry, my sincere condolences to you & your family💐 I am so glad that Dh is being your rock & hopefully he will be on the mend soon, take good care of yourself my lovely once I am so very sorry for your loss😘

Thank you sweethearts. I send you all Flowers for being brilliant internet weirdies.

Soups I love the bag. Keep it.

SoyYo · 04/04/2019 18:32

@Fuzzy very sorry to read about your DM...it doesn’t matter how old we are or how sick they were. Losing our DM is the hardest ache Flowers. I’m glad you’ve got the sea and DH to hold you tight

SoyYo · 04/04/2019 18:44

I’m on the late Eurostar back to St Pancras now won’t be home till around 11pm tonight so two very long and busy days...
Interview went well, I learnt some interesting things while chatting to the head of global strategy. But I’ve hinted to my VP after that a move to Paris is too much to contemplate ar the moment, so I think that’s the end of it. I’m glad I applied for it though as at the time it was advertised as several EU locations, then it changed..but if I hadn’t I wouldn’t have known and may have regretted it later. As it is all is good.
Today had lots of supplier meetings I won’t bore you with. And last night a nice dinner with one of my previous/old team buyers who later got promoted to my previous role. I’m a bit of a mentor to her being 18 years older, and also good friends so it was lovely to have a 🍷and a proper catch up (she’s based in NL so we don’t always coincide at HQ Paris)

@len thank you for your words.

@ella I think I’m warm colouring but not 100% sure because I also suffer from broken capillaries on face (sensitive skin) and I have a Clinique green base I wear which is fab for neutralising them, then apply Clinique redness solutions foundations which I highly recommend if you have redness problems. It’s very light and Medium coverage and doesn’t settle in open pores, wrinkles. Just apply with fingers. But is it warm or cool base? No idea...🤔

SoyYo · 04/04/2019 18:53

@soups totally keep the Mulberry.
I’m not really a handbag person but I do own a black Mulberry east west Bayswater (old style no longer available I think) in black and I love it. Virtually indestructible and I’m not at all precious about handbags but it’s kept its shape and shine with no TLC, it’s such a lovely shape that fits neatly under my shoulder yet roomy enough to hold tons of the usual rubbish I carry when I travel (not a laptop).
At the moment I can’t be bothered to carry a separate hang bag and laptop bag so I’ve got a leather Knomo laptop bag which I highly recommend if you need a smart laptop bag that looks like a roomy handbag 👍

SoyYo · 04/04/2019 18:56

@justi good to read you are so happy after your first week of clinical practice (hope you got rid of the germs!).

@gin nice to read you too...jealous of you and @never with two weeks off work!!

SoyYo · 04/04/2019 18:57

Hello to everyone else 👋👋

Its never a good time to face it, but on top of everything else you are having to deal with at the moment .. My very best wishes and condolences

Laska2Meryls · 04/04/2019 19:27

The beach and the sea are the best , if you need contemplation, I often walked on the beach in the days after my DM died..

dontcallmelen · 04/04/2019 19:28

Soy phew sounds exhausting, glad the interview went well & that even if you don’t go for it, still was a worthwhile excercise, well done you🥂cheers.

dontcallmelen · 04/04/2019 19:29

Yy the sea & contemplation, something about the sea just soothes a racing mind & an aching heart.
