Describing her as a B list tv actress is quite mean Calloway. I didn’t watch Suits but that description is used only to undermine someone’s abilities and quite simply is a cheap dig.

I'm sure she does love him but it can be a combination of love and other factors. But for someone who sought fame in her career I can't imagine she was turned off by the idea of even greater fame.

And really being in the UK royal family does not make someone ‘one of the most important women in the world.’. That is such a blinkered notion of how important you think the British royal family are!

It wasn't meant as a dig in any way, cheap or otherwise. Just stating fact. She was a TV actress on a successful but not wildly so show. Therefore B list. Jennifer Lawrence, for example, is an A list actress. Their careers were worlds apart.

I know lots of actors and many of them can only dream about making it to the B List. It's not a slur.

Saying someone is not an A list actress - when by definition and the absence of Oscar nominations that is accurate - is being honest not “mean”.

Meghan is referred to in American tabloids as a B list actress , it’s not a derogatory word .

Megan is not stupid and neither is Chelsy. Life in a top city law firm is incredibly hard - must say I totally get why Chelsy would rather holiday/design jewellery .

I suspect the royal thing added to Harry's allure for Megan and there is no crime in that. And not being British she probably didn't realise quite how constraining her life would be.

But god, we need some outfits to look at soon!!

Other than suits , did she star in anything? I know there is an old indie film but nothing after right? She was in her mid 30s , with nothing that significant going on film/tv wise. I hardly think it’s that easy to compete with younger actresses in that business.
So yes, marrying a prince, is probably the smart thing to do.

Being part of a syndicated TV series is as significant as you get as an actor outside blockbuster films. Who remembers Judy Dench in some dodgy sitcoms? (Showing my age)

Ok. I read it as an unnecessary slight to her.

I feel sorry for the woman/or any person who is on the receiving end of constant vitriol which is coming thick and heavy from a certain type of British and American person.

I read that article about Carole in the DM - it was so sexist - she was the evil bitch and her husband was the kindly saviour. No woman can be successful without being a bitch it seems. So Meghan is portrayed as an evil bitch boss and Kate is both a doormat and also evil bitch friend.

American tabloids are not exactly known as a good source for non-derogatory terminology. US mainstream media manages to describe Meghan's profession without assigning a grade.

That's a better neckline on Eugenie than the high and ruffled ones she usually favours.

I saw an eye-opening programme about how many areas in America closed their swimming pools rather than allow non-whites access. The consequences of this are still being felt in America with fever non-white people being able to swim. It just leaves you baffled that this is such recent history.
