Charlene looks amazing, I like her dark lippie.

Paradyning · 07/04/2019 16:50

Charlene does a slash if red lippy like no-one else. Unfortunately though she is beginning to look like she shares the Queen of Sweden's surgeon! Step away Charlene

If Meghan decided to have a home birth would she be snubbing the Queen's OB/gyn or would she be following tradition...

Questions, questions...

DobbyTheHouseElk · 07/04/2019 19:35

I know it’s the “Royal” gynaecologist and all, but sharing your granny-in-laws gynaecologist is a bit too much isn’t it?

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 07/04/2019 19:54

Camilla looks fabulous. Her designers are very good at skimming over problem areas, without her outfits looking tent like.

Wetdogloveshubert · 07/04/2019 20:15

Dobby that's what the headlines made me think - who wants to be giving birth, and wondering if your midwife/gynae is comparing how you're doing with other family members?

Love Camilla's jewellery, not sure about the heaviness of the structure around her shoulders though.

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 07/04/2019 20:49

I also, strangely, really like her hair. It's not my personal thing but I think it frames her face nicely and is elegant.

SenecaFalls · 07/04/2019 21:35

My thoughts exactly. Perhaps Meghan is following American tradition. You know, the one where you're not expected to do that. Also perhaps she would prefer a female doctor.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 07/04/2019 21:38

I would imagine Meghan already had a gynaecologist in the states. Most American friends of mine are more used to seeing a gynaecologist as a regular thing.

QueenOfTheAndals · 07/04/2019 21:43

Let's face it, this is all "a source said" and "it's believed that" so who knows what the real story is? Either way, the idea that a woman should be restricted in her birth choices is archaic and misogynistic. If Meghan wants a female OB then so be it. It's hardly like she's going to be free birthing in a mud hut, is she?

@Hazeintheclouds marrying into the RF doesn't mean someone else decides who looks at my fanny. That's my decision as an adult woman.

Paradyning · 07/04/2019 22:16

Agreed PP. it's unbelievable that this is a story.

QueenOfTheAndals · 07/04/2019 22:20

Btw how much longer have you got to go @Paradyning? If Meghan is due soon then the royal style baby must be too!

The DM do froth. I have 4 sisters & we didn't share gynaecologists/obstetricians/consultants when we were pregnant. Mind you we do all live all over the place.

itswinetime · 07/04/2019 22:35

It's such a silly story the queen and Kate used him, Meghan wants someone else why is that a problem. Maybe she's having a midwife led birth with out a doctor 😱.

Camillia looks lovely!

QueenOfTheAndals · 07/04/2019 22:37

I don't know what the queen used him for but it certainly wouldn't have been for the births of any of her children unless he was a child prodigy!

OP posts:
itswinetime · 07/04/2019 22:49

Well it's normally obstetricians that do the child birth so I imagine the queen uses him for what anyone does

SwimmingInTheDeepBlueSea · 07/04/2019 23:37

curly's comment re Raina's outfit It looks like a raincoat mated with a prom dress
😂😂😂
Then she has matching two tone shoes, and her handbag looks like she’s heading on an Easter egg hunt....
It really does!

SwimmingInTheDeepBlueSea · 07/04/2019 23:51

I'm rather horrified that a woman choosing a gynecologist for herself , rather than using the same one as gran-in-law and sis-in-law is headline news.

Can't believe anyone could see a problem with a woman choosing for herself who will see her fanny and the birth?
What planet are dm writers on??

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 08/04/2019 01:51

DM link about Beatrice’s possible future dh

It would be great for the York family to have another wedding next year. Despite their gaffes as individuals, Fergie and Andrew are good parents. Remember Andrew fussing like a mother hen over Eugenie’s train.
Hopefully we will see another unseen tiara from Granny’s vault for Beatrice. Perhaps there is something fabulous with Rubies!

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 08/04/2019 02:00

A 360 of Rania’s raincoat abomination.
The model is struggling to sell it, but Rania with the full matchy matchy accessories kills it.( Not in a good way.)

Then we have the trouser suit with a foot of fabric added to each leg and side stripes. Plus a jecket which doesn’t appear to fasten properly over one boob.

I cannot believe poor Rania has paidgood cash money for these horrors.

George Pinker was the obstetrician for the Queen and Diana's births. He also worked from the Lindo.

It's bonkers that everyone in the family has to have the same obstetrician, it's probably the Mail trying to create drama and tension out of nothing again.

Hope Bea's man is less dodgy than he seems, having left his partner and young baby.
