Rania’s trouser suit is only marginally better still awful.
And the face is pure plastic

beanaseireann · 07/04/2019 08:28

CurlyWurlyTwirly.
Kate and William haven't been to Dublin on an official visit afaik. Meghan and Harry have.
Kate was here with her Mum when on a 'break' from her relationship with William a few years back.
Kate wore the green lurex dress in Belfast.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 07/04/2019 08:29

Maybe they’ll sell Party Pieces? Not that many assets, it’s just the brand value

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 07/04/2019 08:30

Sorry @beanaseirann.
I just remembered her pulling pints of Guinness and in my head I thought it was Dublin!

Paradyning · 07/04/2019 08:31

It was in the pub opposite the Europa hotel. Can't remember them name of it but the hotel is the most bombed in Europe!

beanaseireann · 07/04/2019 08:34

Was it The Crown in Belfast ?
It's a National Trust pub.

Sorry Curly but I checked because I thought I'd missed a Royal visit by W&K and wondered how I ( or the Irish media had) Smile

FATEdestiny · 07/04/2019 08:38

Oh my word. When i read your post I was expecting a grumpy raincoat over a posh dress. I was not expecting.... that

queenofarles · 07/04/2019 08:40

I had a look at Ginnie Chadwyck’s instagram, Edwardian high collar dresses are her thing, plus twee Chinti and Parker bright jumpers.
Much prefer Natasha’s styling.

BigGreenOlives · 07/04/2019 10:12

While I was in Selfridges I spotted these Alice bands. There was another with pearls on it that reminded me of the one a kind friend made for my wedding.

CoverYourEarsTeam · 07/04/2019 10:20

Ok Blush, so I like those @BigGreenOlives ... are those prices in pounds? Coz that might put me off!

(Disclaimer: I am in Oz, and go to very few weddings. We don't tend to wear headpieces of any kind to weddings down under. I do go to the races though - lots of fascinators etc there)

QueenOfTheAndals · 07/04/2019 10:58

Last Oz wedding I went to was...interesting when it came to guest outfits! One guy was wearing an AC/DC tie but, compared to the other guests, at least he was wearing a tie...

The raincoat is that bad! Not sure about the collar on the trouser suit though.

CoverYourEarsTeam · 07/04/2019 11:42

Hah @Queen, yeah Oz weddings can be interesting.
Perhaps only topped by kiwis (and I am one)... the last mixed Oz-Kiwi wedding I went to, the dress code was officially "formal", which most of the kiwis interpreted as their best black jeans and good (at least they were clean) runners Hmm.

QueenOfTheAndals · 07/04/2019 12:06

I see from Twitter that the Mail's front page is about Meghan "snubbing" the queen's gynae. A) how is this front page news? and b) heaven forbid a woman has a right to choose who delivers her baby!

LadyCassandra · 07/04/2019 12:16

I work in a church and Oz weddings can be either very very casual, or very very evening-ey. Funerals are ridiculously casual, no one wears black and I went to my friend’s mum’s funeral and her brother was wearing jeans! Shock

Paradyning · 07/04/2019 12:23

DM are also saying Bea is getting married this year.

QueenOfTheAndals · 07/04/2019 12:40

She hasn't even been with her BF a year has she?

TSSDNCOP · 07/04/2019 12:55

Dies anyone else have Alan Farthing cast in a similar role to Jilly Coopers Dr James Benson?

Hazeintheclouds · 07/04/2019 14:23

If you are married into the Royal
family, there are obvious restrictions/ rules to be followed when it comes to birth.

Hazeintheclouds · 07/04/2019 14:27

Why marry into the RF if you are going to kick against it all the time? Confused

QueenOfTheAndals · 07/04/2019 14:36

Traditions maybe, but "rules"? Diana and Fergie chose to break with tradition by giving birth in hospital. I hardly think Meghan choosing her own doctor is headline-worthy.

beanaseireann · 07/04/2019 15:08

Wasn't Alan Farthing the late Jill Dando's fiancée ?
I watched a recent documentary on her awful murder. Such a dreadful thing to happen to Jill, and of course, her loved ones left behind trying to deal with her horrific death and the loss of her.

UrsulaPandress · 07/04/2019 15:16

Yes he was. He didn’t feature at all in the documentary.

Kate giving birth there hardly constitutes a tradition.

DontCallMeCharlotte · 07/04/2019 15:20

Wasn't Alan Farthing the late Jill Dando's fiancé?

Or as my friend accidentally called her the other day "Jan Dildo" Blush Drink had been taken.
