Slipper - not necessarily. What amazes me about the UK press is that they use each other as sources. So they will print a version of a story they read in another paper with little or no effort to get their own corroborating sources. Seems particularly true with royal reporters. My journalism professor would be OUTRAGED.

I've noticed that too @BlingLoving. And they repeat each other like it's fact. Suddenly Rose C is the one who was hailed as best dressed at the Cambridge wedding but there aren't even any photos of her at the wedding to be found online!

I'm not sure why they'd sue tbh as on the face of it, the tabloids are just saying Kate's fallen out with a friend. Doesn't say why.

And I think the idea that Meghan has leaked this story is ridiculous! Is there anything she won't be blamed for?

On another note, Rose lives in splendour, way more extravagant than the royals ever dream of, again I don’t think she is just that stupid.

Camilla famously hates flying and struggles to cope with the heat in hot countries, so I guess she needs time to get in a fit state to deal with the cameras etc these days.

Agree with you there. She’d hardly be in a position to leak something of this nature, but the DM comments are full of people blaming her.

Richard Kay didn’t help matters though by insulting Harry and Meghan in the copy though, felt it gave the wrong impression.

Extremely strange, unless it is a 'fake story' planted to weed out the gossips. (Apparently K&W did this in their early days to find out who their real friends were.)
Unfortunately it seems this story re Rose Hanbury has taken on a life of it's own.
Little known fact Rose Marchioness of Cholmondeley & William are very distant relations via the Wellesley family on Rose's grandmother's side & via HMQ (Dukes of Wellington & Earl of Mornington)

Rose's husband is worth £112m! It seems they started dating when she was 18 and he was 41, which is a bit Her sister is also married to a man much older than her, although he'd been married before.

There was a single post a few threads back about rumours of PW's fidelity, so it's not come from nowhere. I could totally see it being true in theory. You'd think his parents' issues would put him off, but he's grown up in a family where extra marital affairs were generally accepted as long as you were discrete. The problem with Charles and Camilla was that she wasn't a short lived affair that fizzled out after a while, but rather she was the equal and companion to his DF that his DM wasn't- Diana could never really compete. Coupled with the fact that PW apparently has more than a bit of an ego (and is probably a bit bored and listless since leaving his helicopter job for royal duties which he's made clear he's a bit meh about), you could see him getting involved with a woman who made the right noises. And he would more than likely be able to justify it to himself as "a bit of fun" having had no intention of leaving his marriage or prioritising any mistress over his wife and DC, as his father did.

Obviously I don't know them, but it's a pattern I have seen played out a few times irl. And even if it's a pile of manufactured shite I don't see it being a planted story- it's too close to home, most people wouldn't want the integrity of their marriage put under scrutiny for the sake of weeding out indiscrete friends. You'd go for something more benign like holiday plans, school choices or similar. Nor do I see it coming from MM. Things have generally quietened down for her and she's about to enter the positive news factory that is a new royal baby, so why would she bother? Makes zero sense. She just needs to ignore ignore ignore for the next few weeks.

With all the social media and cameras about now, I can't believe W would be that stupid apart from anything else.

It appears Megan is still a big target for DM and no sign of them going quiet before the baby arrives. They have an article today allegedly quoting the Tatler that she is referred to as ME - GAIN by staff.

I hear all the time on these threads that PW is entitled and arrogant with a big ego. Thing is I know people who know/knew him as friends and they all said how lovely and fun he was. I haven’t ever heard he’s got a big ego.

The daily mail's article didn't even bother pretending not to stick the boot in about Meghan and the comments section is full of shocking bile.

I didn't realise Eugenie's evening dress was pinkish. In the photos I saw it looked like a dirty cream and I didn't like the matronly bust but it is actually a stunning dress. The back and sides are gorgeous. I do think she is too busty for the high front and crossover between the boobs though.

I really really hope PW isn't having an affair. He's an utter fool if he is.

Strangely in tht side shot ,Eugenie doesn't look as well endowed as she is .
