My aim is to have a classic black bag (got one), a nice nude toned bag (work in progress) and a red bag. That way, according to me, every eventuality andseason is covered. Would you like to give your opinion on linked red bag?? Thanks everyone in advance

There’s a scale calculator though - it goes by clothing size and height. I’ve found that quite useful.

And there are model photos in situ to give you a good idea - they just don’t do them for each colour. So if you flick through the colour options you should find one.

The saddlebag you highlighted is a fair bit bigger than the original bag you linked to. There is a smaller version (think it’s called the Portobello?) but they haven’t got it in red.

LOL yeah it’s an interesting idea but not sure it works that well...I think it gives a pretty good impression of the size of the bag. Did you see the photo of the woman with the bag on the table? It’s true, you can’t see it in relation to the model’s body, but it gives an idea of scale IRL.

Depends if you want it to be more versatile so that you can use it throughout the day and if you ever do need to bring a bit more stuff with you. If you’re looking predominantly for an evening bag size then it’s a bit too big IMO.

No I want it to be a day bag. Will use in evening too probably, but not for eveningy evenings if you get my drift.

I don’t think I’d spend that much money on a high street bag. I’m not that keen on any of them. They look like they are copies of a designer bag rather than designed I themselves iyswim?

I like this brand as it’s classy, unfussy and you won’t see a lot of them around and they therefore won’t date.

I really like the idea of the first bag and can see why you like it but I think the BRIGHT gold clasp and chain cheapen it. I would never say that bag was the price it is.

The Aspinal bag is nice

The straps and chains don't much matter because you can buy different ones, so go for the bag you like best. I like the first one you posted, followed by the Aspinall one.

The Kopplws one definitely. The darker colour is much classier.

As another person said - the other one look alike something you would get in River Island/New Look/Dorothy Perkins.
